3 months agoAlthough the visitor centre staff were helpful – it took several emails & phone calls to get the bookings right. I did find the ticketing confusing and I think a better lay-out could be done to make bookings clearer. I had to follow up for some info and one of the pick up info was not correct on the day. Luckily, the company contacted me and I had to ‘double back’ to get to the correct spot – losing my subscription sunglasses in the rush!2 months agoI spoke with Nicola. She organized the 4 days I had to spare. Captain Cook cruise to Freemantle, Ferry information to the zoo, The Mint, Hillary’s & aquarium, hop on/hop off bus & Optus stadium. This was done with a smile & nothing is to hard attitude. A follow up phone call to make sure I had received information for the Optus stadium tour via email.I would recommend a visit to the Visitor Centre. It is central to Perth on William st. 10/10

I found Historical Guildford fascinating.
On arriving at the Swan Valley Visitor’s Ctre, we were taken on a tour of the Colonial goal (very interesting) and Taylor’s cottage which was so nostalgic with old memorabilia.
The town of Guildford in itself is lovely with a lot of little shops to browse in.
The ladies at the visitors were very friendly and informative. I have posted some photos.
Great place to visit.
The Swan Valley Visitor Center is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to explore the beautiful Swan Valley region. You’ll be struck by the friendly and knowledgeable staff, who are eager to share their love for the area and help plan your visit. The center is well-appointed, with a variety of informational materials, maps, and guides, making it easy to plan your itinerary and make the most of your time in the valley. I appreciated the attention to detail and the wealth of information available, which provided a great starting point for my exploration of the area. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, the Swan Valley Visitor Center is an excellent resource for discovering all that this beautiful region has to offer. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Swan Valley Visitor Center and would highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to the area.
Great place to know more about the local history. The staff at the visitor centre were very friendly and helpful. My son couldn’t have a visitor coin as this Visitor Centre does not have one (could consider?) but the staff gave him a sticker sheet to cheer him up.
In the same building is sort of a museum (free entry) on the history of Guildford town, how it developed, the people who shaped the town as well as some good personal account of their life. Recommended!
The staff working there are amazing! We arrived at 10AM on New Year’s Day and they helped us to guide our tour and checked opening hours for some of our destinations. Soooo Helpful!
Staff friendly and very helpful. Helped us plan a day in the area that would satisfy everyone in the family
