Wonderful. Lots of beautiful and delicious produce. Mostly organic or sprayfree. Artistically or simply displayed. Lots of lovely friendly stall holders. Tasty and wholesome tucker. I ? My Farmers Market. Have that sign in back window of my car.

Really great market in summer, produce, pate, toys, kites, bread, crafts and food trucks are only part of the show. In winter it can be a different matter but produce and other food offerings are always available. Always fun to visit.

Many delicious things scattered about. We loved the sourdough breads and the cherries we found. The selection was limited particularly given how many farms are in the area selling things on the side of the roads. Was hoping for a bit more selection but may have been specific to the day we went.

  1. Great options for food produce and handmade gifts/foods.
    Really good vibes.
My husband got the hangi for $20 and I got the whitebait fritter for $16. Then we got some pastries for $6.50 each. A few other stalls had pastries for a bit more money.
    Not enough seating for eating.

  2. Nice market to eat and browse in Nelson, plenty of food and snack options to eat on the spot. Tried the Bacon station burger which was great with the soft brioche bun.

  3. Great market…. Lots of shops, variety, food options. Very clean and tidy with parking around and toilets too! Must visit while in Nelson. Highlights were the Mixed Roots spices and What’Gchocchi

  4. Best market I’ve ever been to. Good quality locally made items. No tat or hock-offs in sight. Amazing array of talent in Nelson area. Custom made knives, handbags, pottery, skincare products and of course all the edibles you’d want.

  5. We went here for our first visit and loved the pools..!
Cafe there was a bit expensive,my big sausage roll was heated up in the microwave and was very hard, did my best too eat it,but I wouldn’t recommend getting it.
