2 months agoAwesome place to visit. Lovely staff, a very interesting place. They have plenty of shaded areas to sit. They even have a little snack and very cold drink area. They also have a wonderful couple of rooms where you can stick your thoughts about your visit. Very well worth the tripa year agoHighly recommend taking the guided tour. So informative and the host was so passionate telling stories from people who had lived there and returned to explore their memories. Very emotional journey for those revisiting. Definitely gives you an appreciation for the new Australians that came such a long way to start their new lives.10 months agoWOW – what an amazing story this place has – first an army camp for WW2 recruit training, then a camp for Euro-migrants coming to AUS on the “10 pound pom” schemes that existed upto 1972. Absolutely fascinating – allow 2 hoursa year agoMany family friends were residents of Bonegilla when they first arrived in Australia. Only because we had friends in Sydney from the same village did we not go to Bonegilla. Thoroughly enjoyed this museum. The displays are great. Wonderful photographs. Well worth a visit by anybody with any connection to the place.a year agoDefinitely worth a visit. I spent several hours wandering around the camp seeing how the post WW2 migrants lived. Very informative and an interesting experience

Really enjoyed our time here. We were lucky to have a tour here guided by Gong, a pleasant mannered and knowledgeable staff. She was always happy to answer questions and share her insights, which adds to the overall experience of visiting the museum.
Overall, the Murray Art Museum is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in contemporary Australian art. Its world-class collection, engaging programming, and welcoming atmosphere make it a standout institution in the Australian art world. I highly recommend a visit!
A nice museum in Albury CBD. One side has its new and modern design (picture 5 & 6), the other side has the traditional design ( picture 7), a perfect combination! Different kinds of art works and exhibitions. Staff is very friendly and informative. Highly recommended.
This Museum is fun and free. It’s small and the staffs here are friendly. There are 5 small cupboards you can find in this museum and I enjoyed finding all of them.
Definitely worth a look for a few hours. Personally greeted and introduced to the galleries. The shop has some lovely gift ideas.
I highly recommend visiting this museum, we really enjoyed our visit this afternoon. There were many artworks to provoke your thinking. Thank you Louise and Belinda for welcoming us! Love from Melbourne
