I tried to sort an issue with an item that was purchased from there under warranty but after being transferred to different staff members & being placed on hold, nobody could solve the problem or they lacked information. Later on I called back and from then on I received excellent communication and customer service from Prabh who solved the problem very quickly. Thank you. Nice work.a month agoI had a key cut at Bunnings, and initially, it didn’t work. However, when I returned and spoke to the receptionist, she cut the key again, and this time it worked perfectly. The floor team was helpful, and the item I needed was in stock.Overall, I was satisfied with the good customer service at Bunnings.

2 months agoI love Bunnings. I can always get everything I need for home. Love being able to bring my dog with me. Great coffee in the Cafe. The floor staff are always helpful, just not enough of them. Need a few more staff.a week agoWhat can I say, I love bunnings. I like tools and working with my hands. As always a good variety to choose from.

3 weeks agoHaving a carpenter/painter husband it’s always first choice to come to this Bunnings as for trade and special order they are better organised and have more options. We came to buy material for deck and pergola and they were very accommodating to what we needed. Very happy with customer service especially from the ladies at the trade desk. We have bought several items for residential jobs also our own home.in the last weekNever coming to this place again. The trades section staff was too lazy to explain the terms and conditions of the van hire agreement and later on charged me cleaning fees for having smoked in the van. It’s fair if they charge me after having explained the terms and conditions but nah they didn’t. The van was not clean in the first place to start with4 weeks agoWas excellently served by Leon in plumbing section. I had no idea how to replace a cartridge for a leaking mixer tap. Leon spent less than 10mins using a store display mixer tap as a real life demo, dismantling it using the tools I would require, explaining the configuration and issues I may run into along the way. Better than any YouTube vid I could find, consequently I successfully replaced the cartridge no hassles. Got the cartridge by special order via Bunnings Spare Parts. The whole process has been brilliant and smooth as. Thanks Leon for going out of your way to give a DIY demonstration, and with your on point knowledge I saved more than $350 if called in a plumber instead4 months agoHorrible shopping experience. I had checked online and this was the only store that had the product of this colour in stock. Firstly, my empty trolley was stolen by someone. I couldn’t find the product I was looking for so asked a staff member for help. They directed me to another section but it wasn’t there. So either the stock count is wrong or the product is actually in some other location. Then I went to look at a different product and needed advice so waited for the staff member who was assisting someone else. Another customer came along and tried to jump in front of me. Thankfully the staff member was helpful and I was able to purchase the second product, but had to go to another store and settle with a different colour for the first product. But be warned in this store the other customers are a bigger problem than the staff!3 months agoProbably a smaller warehouse than the rest, but has all the basics covered. For better selection, the Canberra Airport store is about 10mins away, and has much more selection.But a decent store overall, plenty of parking, great location.
Perhaps surprisingly small considering Fyshwick is the construction hub of Canberra and surroundings.

Usually get what i want here. Sometimes its easier to find stuff online and where the location is. Not always easy to get a staff member to talk to.
This place was packed on the 1st of Jan. Crazy amount of people everywhere. It’s no way we would have been allowed to have that many people covid restrictions days. Reminder to self don’t come in when everyone else is on leave.
Very tasty coffee. Medium coffee + toast. $6. Not bad ?
Visited the garden section looking for some spring colour, finding most of what I was looking for. Needed to know what a tray of unlabelled plants was…. 4 different staff members later and I found one who could help. All it took was a scan through the machine, so that was disappointing. Overall happy with plants purchased. Have always had good luck with plants from here. They’re tough and grow well.
Staff are great and have excellent knowledge of products.
Could do with a greater range of dry dog foods, but obviously this is a personal interest for my extraordinary pooches.
It’s a great place to go for most of your home needs. I love the gardening section. They grow the most adorable coloured pot plants, which take really well when planted. They also have a range of garden beds. I also appreciate their paint section. They have a range of colors and brands. They offer a power pass for businesses as well.
