Very disappointed with the standard of cleaning, as mentioned by others there was popcorn all over the floor. The seats squeaked with every movement so not a comfortable experience at all. I can attend Kawana Cinema for the same price and a much nicer experience so that is what I will be doing in future

I came here because of a mix up with apple maps. This has to be the worst cinema I’ve ever experienced. I cannot believe this place hasn’t been bulldozed. The audio is blown out and makes everything sound horrible. The chairs are disgusting, falling apart and are beyond uncomfortable. The cinema is full of mold and is covered in filth. The layout of the cinema chairs is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. The sooner this place goes out of business the better. There is absolutely no reason to come here just go to the better Event Cinema at Kawana shops. If you find yourself here and the only other option is to go home, just go home.

Place was kinda clean, however during the movie the audio cut out and was only fixed after about 20 minutes. An employee did come in and apologise however the movie was not put back so a large portion was without audio with no context as to what the characters were saying. As compensation for part of the movie being ruined we got nothing, several people even walking out in the time it took for the issue to be fixed.

Had a major mixup with tickets. Staff were very unhelpful and rude until the wonderful manager and intervened and sorted it out very quickly. Full credit to Amber resolving a difficult situation with Grace.

Just seated in Cinema 8, what a disgrace, the filth and rubbish is unbelievable. There is enough spilt popcorn to feed half the cinema. Looks like the cinema hasn’t been cleaned for days. Onecan only imagine what the seats are like, guess thats why the lights are kept down low when you enter. I have never seen such a disgusting mess in a cinema. Lift your game.

  1. 27.07.2022 Came to see Elvis film. Such a great cinema and a new experience in recliners.
Large selection of chocolate, pop corn and ice-cream and fizzy drinks before entry (double chocolate ice-creams are delicious).
Check in at the bar and the staff will let you know which screen number. Also order you drink and have them brought to you. Great service which we didn’t use!
Would recommend (if only for the experience).

  2. Great candy bar setup. Kids loved filling their own popcorn buckets and all the different soft drink flavours like blueberry, mango, lime.

We were in cinema 6 and it was clean, seats comfortable and screen huge.

  3. Cinema was easy to navigate, VMAX had comfy and clean chairs overall a great experience. The only thing that could make it better would be to not have extortionate prices for frozen drinks and popcorn. And more reusable options rather than all the single use plastic.

  4. Mostly staff are bubbly and friendly. Love to come here often for time out and relaxation. Every now and then we get served by the same girl with no smile and no personality, usually no eye contact. Really off putting before seeing the movie, especially when you spend a large amount on tickets and food. I don’t know how she has survived being there for so long. Most other staff make you feel welcome.

  5. I paid for my ticket and recliner and had to swap my session but didn’t receive confirmation email with new time…but did receive email asking did I enjoy the movie on the first booking but didn’t attend the movie. I spent $45 and still haven’t heard back from them as u can’t speak with someone, all communication is digital. I’m hoping I get it sorted then can change my review.
