  they have nice jewelry but it’s unfortunate because every time i’m at the jewelry counter there is no one there to help, employees walk past and see me standing there and still no help. the jewelry should not be in closed counters if no one is back there. even after asking for help an employee will say someone will be right there, no one shows up.

  Got berated by a worker in the fitting room for helping my boyfriend pick out some clothes because she said I’m not a guy. Which is very upsetting because I’m non-binary and if I was standing in the women changing room they would have no problem. I understand they have rules to follow but the way she said it was VERY rude. They have pride flags on their merchandise yet they allow this to happen from their employees. My boyfriend later brought up the point of if a married straight couple wanted to look at clothes together and help each other out would they have to shout across the two separate rooms? It’s ridiculous that this is still something that we have to deal with especially from companies that benefit from the lgbt community.

  The store is really clean and well laid out. I had no problems pushing a baby stroller through the whole store and everyone was polite. The outside of the store needs a fresh coat of paint.

  It’s always fun to visit TJ Maxx and so hard to leave with nothing. Even if I don’t find something I have to have, I still end up buying one of their reusable shopping bags. I can’t resist.

  Overall it is a decent small store. I am dissatisfied with their Men’s department as it is smaller than any other T.J. Max or Marshall’s that I have visited. The shopping plaza this location is in is also a little rundown and there are few white lines indicating the parking spots, so the parking lot was a mess. The Augusta location has a much better selection.
