2 months agoPretty solid department store just like any others. Nothing really sticks out, but it is one of the better places to shop for affordable clothes and housewares.From what I’ve noticed it’s not very plus size friendly, but the selections are cute if you’re in a standard size range. I’m not, so i mainly stick to the accessories, and home decor.
The employees are refreshingly human, I didn’t get greeted at the door but i also didn’t get pestered with questions. This is a good place to shop if you like being able to shop at your own pace.
2 years agoThis is a bargain shoppers paradise. They have all the latest styles you could find but reasonably priced to keep a busy mom of 3 kids on budget. And can’t forget the great fun toys and treats for our doggie who gets spoiled as well. Great designer fashions to keep up with the new trends that won’t break your pockets! Of course this mom’s favorite part is the great holiday decorations and you can never have too many coffee mugs!2 months agoIf it was possible to give 0 stars – that’s what I would do. This store does not offer a positive customer experience of any kind. It is disappointing on so many levels. I will not be shopping here ever again.a month agoUnusual stuff in the kitchen, housewares, and foody sections. Holds my interest while the spouse tries on every shoe in stock. Try it out….surprisingly, good stuff can be found.3 months agoNot enough selections. Everything is just scattered together and looked more like a flea market. I had to really dig for stuff. And if I’m paying more than 5 or 10$ I don’t want to dig.

2 months agoAs always a treasure trove of goodies from lands near and far, and designer items that are affordable. And of course, a complete stock of vacation supplies, that you didn’t know you forgot. Be prepared to spend some time in this wonderful store. One of my fav!3 months agoLove Love that store especially !!! The young lady Dawn at the Register I never met anyone so generous, happy, funny ,and made us feel like good!!Need more people like her!!!
One more thing it was kinda Hot in there for being 90 outside!! Notice the girls had fans !!
Tjmax put the air on it’s not right for business and your workers who probably get paid nothing to work in the heat !!
2 months agoGood selection and good prices.3 months agoI think the owner is miserable. They had no air conditioner. They have these workers with fans I would go on strike or call someone about it.. the health department says your work environment should be safe place Not when people will be taking heat strokes and the employees!!3 months agoI’m beginning to think they only have clothes for the smaller people. I can never find anything size 18 at all. Then the linens apparently are for college students only. I asked a worker about them and she had no time, she told me she just clocked out. The stocker told me they stocked up for back to school only. So much for ever going back there.

I could spend all day in T.J. Max. Like seriously! They have sooooo much there to look at and buy. So many gorgeous purses, bags and wallets to choose from!
They have awesome name brand make up for super great prices! They have awesome jewelry. Clothes for everyone in the family. Shoes, pet items, furniture, rugs, bedding, toys—I mean I could go on and on!
i like this store but wish the staff would be nicer. i had an item that was not tagged and it was 3.99$ a woman behind the counter went to get a price check and brought back a different brand that was $5.99 and i kindly told the cashier this is not the same brand and the other lady stated “they were all the same price” which in fact they were not since j spent 5 minutes going through all of them because of the way they were hung up. the ladies attitude was so sour about it i told the cashier don’t worry about it i can just order them on amazon.
My boyfriend and I have been here many times with no issues whatsoever until today. An employee named Addison with short brown hair and bangs must have felt very bitter or jealous but she decided to be nosy and make some offensive and unnecessary remarks. I purchased a lot of Hello Kitty items and while paying, she states, “I just HAVE to ask are you buying these for your girlfriend or your sister?” and my boyfriend gestures to me and said “for her” and she said “Oh you’re not even dating yet and you’re buying all this? You better treat him right!” which I thought was just a little nosy at first so I tried to shrug it off as just a nosy employee being weird.. But when I chose the “Print Only” on the receipt option, she handed the receipt to me and said “And here’s your receipt to know how much you owe in case you break up!” The entire ordeal was very unprofessional, strange, nosy, and unpleasant. I don’t know if you guys train your employees to make sly remarks and backhanded compliments that are condescending and uncalled for but it’s so strange and unprofessional. I hope she learns what’s appropriate and not appropriate to say to a COMPLETE STRANGER that is a customer at the establishment YOU ARE WORKING FOR.
In the past, I have always enjoyed shopping at this TJ Maxx until today!!! I asked a worker (her name is Addison) for help but to my surprise, she was being super rude to me and I felt like I was being attacked!!! Usually, when I approach an employee at this location, they are always super nice and bubbly but Addison is the exact opposite. I usually do not get mad at service but this one is an exception. I hope TJ Maxx takes action on this behavior, because other customers can be a victim of this.
