2 years agoI love this place, meet people, learn to grow veggies, and to compost. Get excersize and some sun. Great way to spend half a day ?a year agoI love this garden, great to potter around in and immerse yourself in nature.5 years agoGreat place to pick a few fresh vegetables or herbs for free. It’s a community garden, so you can do as little or as much as you like to help, or to learn about gardening.5 years agoGreat variety, plants are growing well enough to have plenty to take, lovely spot to take kids too with playground next to.5 years agoI think what the community is doing at the Bunya park is lovely and it’s a beautiful addition to the area and those ‘others’ who don’t respect projects like these should be prosecuted

An interesting place to spend a few hours. We were there when a sculpture exhibition was on. Some weird and wacky stuff on show. Rest of the gardens were OK. We were a bit disappointed with the café, but it seems it is run by volunteers, so its probably best to lower your sights a bit.
This was a lovely stopover for lunch whilst travelling.
We didn’t get to explore all the Gardens had to offer, but enjoyed what we saw.
Plenty of sunny spots for a picnic.
Kiosk and gift shop and plant nursery where we purchased a couple of plants. Very enjoyable.
$5 entry per person.
A wonderful place to visit with friends or family. So much to see, so many varieties of plantings, ferneries, cacti display, alongside a wetlands walk, Cafe, covered outdoor play area. Well worth visit. We have been twice this week and saw much more this visit.
Don’t forget to wander amongst the local sculpture walk. ???
This is one of the best gardens I’ve visited, and run by volunteers! It exceeded our expectations. Expect to spend a couple of hours at least, and take your camera and comfy walking shoes.
Mostly natural bushland with dedicated zones for Plant Collections of native and/or non-native species.
It’s a credit to all the volunteers for what they have created.
More funding from local council (and slonsors) would greatly assist this tourist destination.
