a month agoJavi was an amazing sales guy, they’re not pushy like car dealerships, & they’re all friendly. You walk in to a guy who gives you cookies, water, juice &/or coffee, they keep the atmosphere entertaining & a huge selection of furniture that’s not overpriced. Highly recommend!2 months agoI am a new resident to Austin looking to buy furniture, I stopped by this location after passing by accident and told myself I would only window shop for about 10 minutes. Once I walked through the doors I was instantly mesmerized by not only the options but the staff as well. Marc, the DOF (or director of fun) provided a wonderful first impression and offered us an increased couch on wheels to tour the store along with refreshments after coming from the heat. He then lead us to Alicia who provided much help and knowledge about different furniture and bedding options that I was looking for. 10 minutes of window shopping turned into an hour with a purchase due to their great deals going on. I would recommend this place to those looking to change up their homes or those moving into new spaces looking for quality pieces.a week agoFurniture pieces come with a high price tag, but they offer customization in terms of color and material. On the downside, the delivery fees seem steep, starting at $200 even for just a single recliner chair.3 months agoMarc, the director of fun, is the best! I’m 13 and in every store I’m always bored, but in this one I had so much fun! Marc helped us to find the bicycle, and it’s the first store that I was able to ride a bicycle in the store! My cousins and I played for 25 minutes while my aunt was buying stuff for the house. The furniture was so good and beautiful, and even the adults had fun too. There was even a eletrical sofa for adults, it was really fun ?.a month agoThis place was amazing! First, you’re greeted at the door with drinks and snacks. You then can spend your time looking through the amazing selection of furniture. There’s so many options you literally could spend all day in there. No pressure to buy anything, and they have plenty of staff on hand to assist you with any questions you have. This is a place for all price ranges! Go check it out and ask for Javi!

4 months agoAs soon as I walked through the doors I was greeted immediately by Nadia. Thanks to her for asking the right questions and making the process so easy, I was able to find a bedroom set in no time. If you’re in the market for new furniture, Rooms to Go has a great selection. There are a few living rooms sets I was eyeing. When the time comes, I’ll definitely ask for Nadia again.a month agoRecently purchased a sectional couch from Rooms To Go after having a horrible experience from Ashley’s down the street. Our salesperson Geoff, helped us find our perfect couch for our new home. Not only did I receive excellent service in store, but our couch was also delivered on time, as promised. So glad that we cancelled our order from Ashley’s and went to Rooms To Go. We love our new sectional!!a month agoGreat service and selection. Michel was immediately so helpful and nice!! Got a great modern, sleek sectional with storage, a wireless charger, a hidden cup holder, and a pop up sleeper!! Left happy with a great Labor Day sale!2 weeks agoJavier, made our shopping experience amazing! We were in and out within the hour. He was very respectful yet informative and allowed us space to explore the store which was very much appreciated. We came in already knowing what we wanted. As they did not have the full set he showed us the type of couch set it would be with fabric and color etc. We also left with a dining table which was exactly what we were looking for. The payment process was such a breeze. Make sure to see Javier when shopping for furniture you won’t regret it!2 weeks agoVery good presentation of home furnishings. Staff was helpful but not over powering. I recommend this store even if just looking to get new ideas.

Furniture Store in Austin TX: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know
When shopping at a furniture store, it is important to keep in mind certain rules and guidelines to ensure a successful and satisfactory experience. These rules will help you make informed decisions, get the best value for your money, and avoid any potential pitfalls.
Here are some rules to follow when shopping at a furniture store:
- Measurements: Always take accurate measurements of the space where the furniture will be placed. This will help you determine the appropriate size and avoid buying items that are either too big or too small.
- Quality: Check the quality and craftsmanship of the furniture pieces. Look for sturdy construction, durable materials, and finishes that will stand the test of time.
- Comfort: Sit on the furniture to test its comfort level. This is especially important for sofas, chairs, and mattresses. Don’t be afraid to spend some time trying out different pieces to find the most comfortable option.
- Style: Consider your personal style and the overall aesthetic of your home. Choose furniture that complements your existing decor and reflects your taste. Don’t be swayed by trendy designs if they don’t align with your preferences.
- Budget: Set a budget before you start shopping and stick to it. It’s easy to get carried away when browsing beautiful furniture, but it’s important to stay within your financial limits.
- Delivery and Assembly: Inquire about delivery options and costs. If the furniture requires assembly, ask if it will be done by the store or if you need to do it yourself. Clarify any additional fees or requirements for delivery and assembly services.
- Warranty and Return Policy: Understand the warranty and return policy of the furniture store. This will give you peace of mind and protection in case of any issues or dissatisfaction with your purchase.
While these rules will help guide you through your furniture shopping experience, it is equally important to know what not to do:
- Don’t rush: Take your time to browse and compare different options. Buying furniture is an investment, so it’s essential to make an informed decision.
- Don’t overlook comfort: While the appearance of furniture is important, don’t ignore the comfort factor. Prioritize your comfort and that of your family members.
- Don’t disregard durability: Make sure the furniture is made from high-quality materials and has durable construction. Investing in furniture that will last for years is a wise decision.
- Don’t ignore maintenance requirements: Some furniture pieces require regular maintenance, such as cleaning or polishing. Make sure you are willing to put in the effort required to keep your furniture in good condition.
- Don’t overlook customer reviews: Before making a purchase, read customer reviews and ratings of the furniture and the store. This will give you valuable insights into the quality and customer satisfaction of the products.
By following these rules and guidelines, you can ensure a successful and enjoyable furniture shopping experience, resulting in a home that is stylish, comfortable, and functional.

5 Replies to The 7 Biggest Furniture Store in Austin TX, United States
I love Ashley furniture stores because the quality is pretty good but also because you can walk in to shop around on your own without having a sales person following around. I appreciate when furniture stores give the customer space to look around and explore on their own. I went to Rooms to Go that same day and the experience was the complete opposite. The amount of sales reps is overwhelming and it feels like you can’t walk around freely without compromise.
Yesterday I had a couch delivered which had stains all over it and a massive black mark/mold on the back.
As this is a new couch, I feel it’s only fair I should get a replacement, however Ashley seems to be doing everything it can to avoid this. I want a what I paid for, which is a new couch, not a damaged or refurbished couch. I feel that the after sales support I am getting is non-existent now that they have my money and have sent me a damaged product.
I’d be happy to remove this review if I could get the proper support and response on this. All I want is what I paid for. Not excuses and lack of communication.
EDIT: They offered to replace my couch. New couch is 10000% better than the old one. Great support. Thank you! Updated to 5 stars!
I am extremely disappointed in the quality and service we received. On 8/24/23 we paid $3,000 for a table only to find out it was delivered broken. Because I had just signed the iPad the driver had he said it’s mine and no refunds. So the driver left. When we called they said it could be a week for someone to come look at the broken table. I will never buy from this place again. I hope management makes things right. I have called numerous times and got nowhere.
Very good store to shop for home furnishings. It is laid out nicely and easy to navigate. If Cody is working ask for him to help you. I would recommend going after lunch but not after 5 pm. Nice selections give it a try.
We went to the Ashley store in Austin. It was clean and organised.
We got great discounts and the service was fantastic! Addie did a great job at hosting, guiding us through the purchase, getting us good deals and was very patient about listening to our needs. The financing options helped us buy everything we wanted and more! The home decor stuff was beautiful! We will surely be back very soon!
