a month agoClean, tidy and well mantined theatre with comfortable seats, reasonably priced food and drinks. Cinema sound and visuals are excellent.a month agoI’ve attended this cinema a few times since I’ve moved here, I’ve found sometimes it to understaffed to check toliets let alone restock towels or spot clean, bins are often overflowing. Staff have said in the past its been busy. Signs on the counter stated so this visit. Im not convinced. Have NEVER been here with over twenty seats sold. This time it’s dirty around the carpet. TV signs are turned off. Out ice cream to sell! or large drink cups. The medium drink cup came over half filled with ice.
Was referred to the Cafe menu. No thanks it’s very basic to order enough stock especially over this holiday period. Not good enough! I won’t be bringing my business back here.
I’ll miss the comfy seating and the fantastic movies and the food delivered to your seat. Will anything change here?
a month agoOk ok ok….I’m excited. If you want a total lack de da experience with you’re friend or loved one….
Take them to see a movie here
Order a meal.and have it delivered to you whilst watching your movie!
Red carpet walk up sweeping stairs, go casual.or why not wear a ball gown and black tie?
2 years agoGood customer service and nice clean toilet! This cinema have the nicest sound system in nz ! Even Auckland’s cinemas’ sound system can’t complete and not as good as this one! I will recommend this Focal Point Cinema to my relatives and friends!5 months agoLong queues to get tickets 45 min before it started, make sure you have your tickets 2 hours earlier other wise you might be disappointed. seating could be given a clean or vacuum still had popcorn from last movie. Great sound great experience. But could have closed the door to make it Abit darker.

Friendly and helpful staff at the counter. I didn’t have my loyalty card…no problem was able to sort that out. The seats were comfy and the cinema was clean and tidy
It’s not the best theatre I’ve been to the chairs aren’t all that great compared to some more modern places but I do like how empty this places seems to be when i go. Tidy, great pricing and solid basics.
Very nice staff and comfortable seats. Went and saw FNAF and it was alright, quite the crowd. Food is overpriced but it is at every cinema so I was expecting that. The entire place was tidy and it seemed like a cute lil theater. I liked their drink range of mountain dew, Pepsi, seven up. You know the not so popular drinks
Went to go to an R-13 movie with my friends and they wouldn’t let us buy our tickets or get in because they thought we were under 13
My mum ended up coming in and telling the manager that we were all 13 but we still were not allowed in. My mum even said she would sit in the back of the movie theatre and watch but they still refused to let us in.
Theatres are always clean and seats are comfortable. Popcorn isn’t buttery enough and is always stale, but they allow you to bring snacks from outside to enjoy.
