a month agoI have been to this Ross probably about a dozen times and each visit has been amazing, the employees here are very sweet, kind and welcoming. I love the great smelling candles and the prices for everything in the store is amazing. The check out line can vary between being long or short depending on what time or day you come; I like to come either around 9 something in the morning or a little after 10:00am on Saturdays and for the most part there are not lots of people and the lines are shorter around those times. Usually a little after 11:00am or getting closer the noon is when it starts getting crowded and the lines get very long especially on the weekend.2 months agoAlways a good place for those bargain deals!The restrooms are a little dingy!
2 years agoRoss is pretty great. Has a decent selection of different clothing styles. Sizes are not all inclusive. They had barely any pants in my size very disappointing. They need to stock more 29 length pants for short people. The bathrooms were of average cleanliness. Prices are pretty decent for everything. Shoes are priced great and they always have great selection of shoes. It is always a pleasure shopping at Ross.2 months agoI purchased a painting, carried it all the way to my car. When I get to my car I realize it’s busted, I start looking for the receipt I had and I just can not find it. I put all my other stuff in the car and go back inside. It’s extremely hot. I tell the clerk, she goes to the manager who says “it wasn’t busted when you bought it”. Basically calling me a liar in front of this whole room of people. We go back and forth until I finally say “it’s your word against mine, don’t worry about it”. Then she decides to allow the return. Then I had to explain I lost my receipt and she questions me again. You would have thought I stole a million dollars. It was totally ridiculous.10 months agoI have to say I love this Ross. I came back from this African picture but I was disappointed I couldn’t find it. I’m still giving them 5 stars because when I can’t find the item I want I always and I mean ALWAYS leave with a new found item. 2 months agoThis is a good-sized Ross location. Overall, it was clean and well stocked, but the ladies’ restrooms were pretty gross on our visit. Excellent selection of clothes for all ages. Plan for a little wait in line to check out. For me, it was almost 10 minutes because two cashiers were trying their best, but the line was too long.a week agoWorst customer service. Manager gets mad when the line gets long and has to hop on a cash register to help. As other reviews have stated, she will ask you to take the clothes off the hangers. According to her, because Ross has low prices its what we customers do in return….. I didn’t realize it was my job to do it. Honestly, if she asked or said it nicely I wouldn’t of mind. She lost her marbles and does not need to work in customer service.2 months agoIt’s a shame that everywhere now expects you to do their job! Now Ross wants you to take all the clothes off the hanger and neatly hang them up for them so they don’t have to do it. Their shelves are empty the place is a wreck. Now us customers have to do the work for them. Then the lady there got an attitude saying it’s the way of the world get with it. She should be fired since we’re doing her job anyways4 months agoMy last couple of visits I was able to return items at the checkout line. I recall waiting in the return line seems like forever only to be told that the lines open could pretty much do both. So today I had a return the clerk tells me I had to return my items in the return line. It’s so confusing unorganized then she says well they probably did a return if the return line wasn’t open but its open. I just made my purchase and didnt even bother to get into return line. Very unprofessional can use proper training.5 months agoI was out and about last Wednesday morning on 4/5/23 and I took it upon myself to buy myself an Easter dress this year. I had set my budget for 40.00 and went to a couple of places and the selection was less to be desired, but I wasn’t going to give up, so I remember a friend of mine tell me about going to Ross. So I went to the location on Commerce Center Drive in Jacksonville FL and I looked around and saw a light blue linen dress in my size but didn’t have a price tag on it and I also wanted to find a navy blue shrug to go with it and I found one in my size(it took some looking for but I found it) I went back to where I was looking on the dress rack and I saw the same dress for 24.99. I was ready to pay for my purchases and took them to the cashier and I told her that the dress I wanted didn’t have y price tag on it, so she sold it to me for 14.99. I work the dress and the shrug to our Easter presentation at our church and I got so many compliments on them. I’m glad I went to Ross and will go there again!

The store is a mess and the line is wrapping around the entire store to check out. Every register should be open. What a disgrace. Do better Ross ESPECIALLY 2 days before Christmas.
The store is a DISASTER!!! And that’s putting it very direct and honest. All the shelves look like wild animals came through. Trash everywhere on the floor!
It is one of my favorite stores, however while I made the mistake of attempting to return something I had purchased at Marshalls and had taken the time to look for here the manner and tone of the cashier just turned me off, i could have purchased the items but this individual’s attitude changed my mind.
The store needs some organization on the shelves, and they are required to clear and clean their isles since they are blocking the way out in the event of a fire.
This Ross lacks in cleanliness and order. I understand that it is the customer that grabs items and just leaves the merchandise all over the place, but you have to hire people who care about their job and would like to keep the area clean. Otherwise it just looks like a yard sale.
Nice Bargains. Was able to get my husband two pillows. nice price for the set of two cooling pillows. 100% cotton sheet for a queen size for less than $30.
