6 months agoTiny shopping mall on poplar – looks like still stuck in the 90s. They have Macy’s and Dillards- but they are also very small with less collection. It was the Friday afternoon, and still wasn’t much packed. Sone of the stores were closed inside. They have a food court too. Overall it looked a little cramming and depressing. I don’t see any point visiting.4 years agoUsing goggle maps, it directed us to oak court mall. However, even though the address is correct, the store is now across the stree in poplar commons. Confusing.4 months agoIt’s still a beautiful mall inside, and it’s being very well maintained. It’s got to be so hard for malls to survive in this era, but it looked better than I expected. I haven’t been here since the 1990s, but the mall looked VERY nice inside, just as it did all those years ago.3 months agoI went to Macy’s to return an item for a friend who’s in the hospital. This was the first time I’ve been there in YEARS! I was amazed at how empty it was! But if course, it was, around 7:45 pm. The employees I came in contact with were very pleasant and I was in and out within 10 min!5 months agoIt was a cool place I went to try a restaurant that’s actually in the mall

Really good indoor mall. Plenty of areas to park my truck and be outta the way. Milo had a blast and met some nice folks shopping. I had a good meal and got a vape.
This is a nice, little mall. It is small, by Galleria standards (ours is 4 or 5 stories tall) and we walked both floors and went in the majority of the stores (that interested us) in about 2 hours. The escalators were all working and the facility was clean. There is a play area downstairs that my kids were all too old for, but they thoroughly enjoyed the arcade. There are plenty of options in the food court with lots of seating. We saw security officers frequently, and saw officers rounding with K9 units, so we truly felt safe during our visit.
It was really nice! We got a great deal at smooth like jas! It’s an all natural spot that has amazing products for the entire body from head to toe! Then we got a great deal on perfume at Macy’s!!!
My experience mirrors many of the other reviews.
1) Parking your car here means you are taking a high chance of coming back to a broken window and having your car burglarized. This is real and happening in areas that appear to be with more traffic. I personally know many people that had this happen.
2) Security outside is a joke unless its the holidays and the police departments (Sheriff, Memphis PD) setup the mobile command center. Even then, they generally stay there.
3) Never heard of a mall with this many shootings on a regular basis.
4) Inside looks OK, but as mentioned by others, the big name stores are leaving. They are being replaced with more low-end garbage stores. Retail is dead people.
Very cool mall. If you’re coming in from out of town and need to spend a few hours until your hotel is ready, this is a fun place to eat and shop.
