Beautiful food court, great movie theaters

This mall’s food court has great variety, including poke bowls, boba, a ramen vending machine, and pizza. There are also Lemonade, Starbucks, and Super Duper Burgers locations part of the mall but outside the food court. The food court is a great place to get something to eat before or after seeing a movie upstairs, in AMC Theatres. There are 16 theatres and they range in size, which allows showings of very popular movies and sometimes indie or foreign movies.

Nice place with huge screens. Super comfortable recliners to sit in. Just a tad bit expensive imo. I wish it’d be more like the old days, when you can buy a movie ticket for $6.50 and your all set.

Galleria?? Let’s not get overzealous, and how about we just call it a mall? I give Stonestown 3 stars because this is the first BASC that I have rated. Maybe my parameters will ebb and flow as I make my way across the Bay. Stonestowm has a Van’s store that was attentively staffed by two very pretty and very observant Latino women. I was irritated bc I was trying on some sweet waterproof Van boots (TOP notch, although only one size on hand.. 10 12.. my size?). These were the type of footwear that could help your feet fly as you walk ever so inconspicuous. The irritated looking ex-cop security guard standing right outside the door was a bad vibe…

I was too late for my mission, for I am in possession of some rare and unique memorabilia. My destination, a collectibles store within stonestown, was closing. This came as a bitter relief, given the nature of my current predicament. It would be a wise move to take the night to study exactly what kind of approach I will take when I return to make my exchange. As seasoned professionals in the industry, I expect to receive a fair price for my pokemon card.

    First Edition Holographic Charizard.

Then there is Sports Basement. Too bad that huge warehouse of outdoor apparel and sporting goods closes earlier than the rest of the place because it is just the place to find some killer gear at a cheap price. The staff are very friendly and don’t hover intently, making an otherwise relaxing shopping experience uncomfortable and rushed. No, this place lets you peruse at your leisure.

Stonestown is a beautiful, lively mall to shop in with plenty of restaurants, a food court. clothing stores, a wide variety of boutique stores, video games, Regal movie theater, and more! There are also large chain businesses: Target, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Sports Basement, Chase and Citibank, City Sports, and McDonald’s.

The mall is conveniently located next to public transportation (MUNI and SamTran), too.

I remember this mall was a destination mall to shop for clothing. Now it’s a destination place to eat! Unfortunately no more Macy’s or Nordstrom’s. Now there is a better movie theater and an expensive grocery store. If you are hungry and want some food/dessert then Stonestown is your place.

Third days it’s opened since Corona, many stores still closed , many people come for foods and drinks

Update 9/17/2023 The mall is so alive, the businesses are back. Many new stores like daiso etc. The food court is crowded. The theather makes it even better beside the wholefoods.

This mall has all the chains one can imagine and has only been growing. Conveniently located right off the Muni station it has Apple, Sephora, Aveda, Tmobile, Verizon, Zara. Good collection of eating places too : Chipotle, Blaze Pizza, Udon noddles, Peet’s coffee. There is an entrance into Target and the Target within Stonestown is huge. The Trader Joes is 2 mins away and is one of the finest Trader Joes you can find in the Bay Area. Stonestown is a one stop shop for all your needs. Parking is becoming a headache increasingly, it can take upto 10 mins to find parking outside or you need to head underground.

  1. Westfield is always very fun. i went to the movie theater on the top floor and it was very good. nice service, good popcorn, cheap tickets, etc. the mall itself is beautiful at night, and the food court has lots of very great food. would definitely recommend the movie theater and just the mall itself!

  2. This shopping mall gives you a different feeling. It’s massive and beautiful. This place has a food court, man branded shops, and a cinema too. I’m not sure about on-site car park. Very convenient place for public transport.

  3. Quite a large shopping center in the city center near the cable car stop. Many levels for shopping, however, the mall is half emptied, only half the floors have shops in operation while majority of the upper levels are blocked off.

The food court is located on the lowest floor, and it seems to be the most popular area in this centre

  4. It’s true! The San Francisco’s downtown mall is dead. Westfield pulled out of the mall due to significant decrease in sales and occupancy level. Visiting here for a few days and wanted to see for myself, before it’s all gone. This used to be my stomping grounds. Especially Nordstrom. It was my “heaven”. Now it’s filled with empty spaces. No more crowds. No more eateries. Some people brought their lunch because there are tables available. Hardly any foot traffic. It’s a ghost town!! I’m still leaving five stars for the great memories. You will be terribly missed!!

  5. Multi level shopping area with Bloomingdale’s as main anchor store. There was a Nordstrom here but it just recently closed. The building/venue is upscale and there is security walking around the mall and some stores have manned entrances. Good selection of chain stores and some smaller ones I wasn’t familiar with. Zara, Tory Burch, Coach, Adidas, Madewell, American Eagle, Vans, Lululemon, Sephora, Burberry, H&M, JCrew, and Kate Spade to name a few. Various food vendors throughout mall and a number of additional food providers in the food court on the lower level. A number of which specialize in Asian, Indian, and Korean foods, teas, and desserts.
