4 months agoI’m new to Baltimore and was very happy to find this small but friendly game store. In spite of how small it is, they carry a lot of games, including many I had never seen before (and I have been playing and collecting tabletop games for decades). They even have a large selection of used games. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel at home. I found the store because I wanted to play a Friday Night Magic draft and was pleasantly surprised. The customers are also friendly and welcoming, and they treated me well during the draft. (I played terribly, but they helped me.) This is important because sometimes players can be arrogant jerks, but I felt right at home among friends. I’ll be going back.in the last weekPoor management. Owner is unreliable. Supporting local is great. Accountability at local businesses and organizations that feels healthy to support…priceless. Recommend other local game stores or options.2 months agoCame here for a Magic the Gathering pre-release tournament (Wilds of Eldraine). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Brought my 9 year old son who is starting to get interested in magic who just wanted to watch. Owner even tossed him a bonus pack, made his day. we will be back!2 months agoI know game stores can have their quirks, but this particular store felt like it tries to bite off more than it can chew. The place is fairly small but the items feel haphazardly placed, especially in the back. At times it feels like unkept nerds garage sale than a proper place of business.3 years agoVisited the area coming from NY, this was a quaint little store I found with a friend. We both visited for out first time and were pleasantly surprised by the selection of board games, mini figs, and video games. The employee(s) were very helpful with locating and suggesting games as well as fun to chat with while we browsed. A great first time experience and I would reccomend it again.

And there’s a wide range of price points, so we did some window shopping for my daughter’s wish list, and picked up some adorable little goodies. 6 months agoFor the kid that has everything, the toys here stand out. They are unique and not expensive. A handheld telescope was a hit with a five-year-old. Also a jigsaw puzzle with certain objects only visible under a light provided.2 years agoMy family was so delighted to find this store when we moved to the area. It reminded me of the toy stores I grew up with. Do not be fooled by it’s small size (compared to big box stores); they have a very large selection of items, thoughtfully chosen by their staff. They also make it easy to order in whatever it is you want if they don’t have it in stock. It’s a fun spot for children to visit – lots of things on display and toys to interact with. The staff are very friendly and relaxed. There’s never a concern of letting your kids explore – they encourage it! Price points are surprisingly reasonable and on par with what larger chain stores charge (often times they’re better). This a true neighbourhood gem and it’s definitely worth your time visiting and supporting! Highly highly recommended!

Great selection of comics and toys. Lego’s, Funkos, action figures, even vintage Star Wars figures. One of those stores that doesn’t look big from the outside but has plenty of merchandise inside. Roughly half the store for comics, half for toys. They also have a good selection of comic book supplies.
amazing small business owner who truly cares for his customers and the community. There are awesome gifts and collectibles that you would be delighted to find! You could spend hours in there just going through it all. If you like comic books, anime, manga or good ole cartoons, check this place out!

My son went looking for some specific Pokemon cards. They only had box sets, so it was a bust for him.
I decided to take a look around myself. The store is split into 2 sections, so it is bigger than you think. They have comics, figures and other cool collectibles. I was looking at a Zoids or SD Gundam model set, but decided not to ?
You can see in the multiple photos, there is plenty for any pop collector. I found the open Lego parts odd, but seems to be popular. I have to say that it is well worth a visit for anyone in the collectibles market.
I visited Collector’s Corner with some fellow nerdy friends recently. We were impressed by the selection, and even more impressed that the store carried some traditionally “girly” collectibles and memorabilia (though most was Sailor Moon), as we (women, in our case) are generally very poorly-represented in the collecting and action figure world.
The only downside I found is as an ambulatory wheelchair user, there was no possible way I could have navigated through the store with my wheelchair. I had to make do with my cane, which was difficult on my body. The store also has narrow stairs that go down to a basement level, which I found difficult with my conditions.
The owner appears to care very much about his business and customers though, and the age of the building (narrow stairs, multiple floors) is not his fault. However, it would be my friendly suggestion to consider more thorough ADA accommodation in the future so as not to accidentally alienate that clientele.
