We made the trip to South Park Mall and to American Girl Place. We coincidentally parked right at the mall entrance where American Girl was located. The store was clean with lots of friendly staff members. My daughter was nothing but smiles. There’s a huge selection of dolls to choose from. Ones in different themes, eras and accessories like outfit changes, pets, vehicles etc. Throughout the store you’ll also find reading books for each doll.

The staff member who helped us was named Jennifer. Jennifer was nothing short of sunshine to deal with. She was engaging and had my daughter smiling throughout her search to figure out what she wanted.

We will definitely be visiting for more.

Tea and cookies. Overall it was a good experience for the kid. As an adult it was quite boring but it’s not really intended for male adults who don’t play with dolls.

What made it worth it was the look on my child’s face when we sat down for tea.

It is quite expensive in general, tea is basic and sides are likely cheap pre-packaged snacks, which at the price for 45 a person kind of stings a little. Corporate America has no shame in attaching a hefty price tag to providing unique experiences to your children.

But still, it was a good experience over all.

This is such a fun store to shop in and explore!! If going on the weekends its nice to get there when they first open, as it does get crowded!

Customer service is typically great and I love the salon! It is not an inexpensive store, so may want to check that out before you go. It is easy to get carried away!!

My daughter is 10 and loves AG, but I dont know who of us has more fun here!!

We love this store so much! We come here every year on our way home from the beach because we don’t have one in our area. Nancy was an absolute delight, very fun, friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to get home and build my old red truck.

This is a great little store. A very nice greeter welcomes you in. There’s a lot of sets- but not overwhelming. It’s maybe not as amazing as other lego stores I’ve been to that had a lot more space and displays- but given the size they do a great job. The staff were all nice and asked if we needed help. Only thing I wish is they’d have some sale items or something from time to time- everything is retail price. But I get it- and honestly if they had sales I’d never be able to get a set anyway as it stays really busy. Worth the trip if you’re looking for a current set- but if you’re coming just to look at builds you may be disappointed.

Omg! I have never seen a Lego store like this! Was so excited and in total heaven. This 52 year old wanted to do some serious shopping but sadly, none of it would fit in my suitcase for the flight home! The staff was wonderful and totally sympathized with me lol

    Great store

My son loves to come here to play with Legos and get inspiration from the many displays. There are hundreds of sets, dozens of displays, and three different tables set up for kids to build and create. The staff are friendly and engaging without trying to push sales.

Shopping at a toy store can be an exciting experience, especially for children and toy enthusiasts. To make the most out of your visit, here are some simple guidelines to follow:

  • Research beforehand: Before heading to the toy store, do some research to find out what toys are popular at the moment. This will help you make a more informed decision and save time.
  • Set a budget: Determine how much you’re willing to spend before entering the toy store. This will prevent you from overspending and help you focus on finding the best options within your price range.
  • Consider age appropriateness: Take into account the age of the child you’re shopping for. Many toys have recommended age ranges printed on the packaging to ensure safety and appropriate developmental stimulation.
  • Inspect the quality: Examine the toy for any defects or signs of poor quality. Make sure all parts are securely attached and there are no hazardous materials that could be harmful.

  • Consider the child’s interests: If you’re shopping for a specific child, think about their interests and hobbies. Choosing a toy that aligns with their passions will make it more enjoyable and memorable for them.
  • Ask for assistance: If you need help or have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask a store employee. They are usually knowledgeable about the different toys and can offer valuable advice.

  1. Nice place to pick up hidden gems. Will require work on your part as the store isn’t too organized. The offer for the things I went in to sell was an extreme low-ball so I just opted to sell elsewhere. Great selection of books, comics, music and collectables.

I wish there was more separation between used and new products and the new products were marked up considerably more that other retailers.

Definitely a place to spend some time in shopping around, however.

  2. Incredibly rude staff. Absolutely worst staff I’ve ever witnessed at a store in my life. Numerous staff members were following us around telling us the store was closed when it was 8:02… I told them I had one more thing to get and they continued to force me to leave the store because it was past close. Barely. One lady was kind enough to show me the one thing I was looking for, which was pointless because I was immediately kicked out not even 5 minutes from then. I was in shock with how rude they spoke to us… I never leave reviews but I’m just so surprised. I love 2nd and Charles, but I don’t think if I will come back to this location again.

  3. Don’t come here to try to sell your books I came with great condition book the lady look at me up and down because of the books I have she says your books smells like smoke and I don’t even smoke the book where never around any smoke . That was really bad reason and based off one individual who clearly didn’t like the way I looked

  4. Great nerd store! If you like reading they have a massive selection; gaming, you’ll find plenty from old systems to new; want to play music… they’ve got some instruments too; all this and so much more! Also if you’re looking to trade or sell, bring your stuff here!

  5. This place was a disaster. Books everywhere no certain spot just everywhere. Those poor comic books. Just thrown into bins like nobody’s business. Idk how most are all bent up. Funkos scattered throughout even on the floor. This is the most unorganized 2nd and Charles I have ever been into.
