Excellent plant area, loads of range and experienced gardeners were helping me openly and honestly with their options and recommended us the right places to go with oversized pots & saucers. Such a wonderful service and team that genuinely help their customers.3 weeks agoHad the best salesman last night in the timber section at Burleigh. His name is Ben and he went above and beyond to help me. Nothing was too much trouble. I had not received the same treatment at the Nerang store and nearly gave up. I will only go to Burleigh now and hope Ben is on duty. A big thank you.a month agoIt has a very comprehensive range of all products a home handyman or a tradesman might need. Prices.are reasonable. Plenty of parking undercover, lifts , stairs and people mover.2 months agoThis review is long overdue. Debbie in plumbing section is awesome! On several occasions now she’s helped me with various plumbing challenges (drains, hoses, toilet accessories, etc.). She really knows her stuff and seems to be able to visualise the issue’s and selects the current item. WELL DONE AND THANK YOU, DEBBIE!2 years agoThe store has been around for a few years now. A large double storey branch with plenty of parking on the lower level. As customers we do need to understand that the Bunnings staff are at different experience levels, with some being able to assist at every level we require and others are on a training path and not yet knowing everything. I always cut the people some slack if they’re not able to render the type of service I expect.

in the last weekI went here looking for a lawn mower. And realized that the cost of one had jumped since the last time I had looked. And in passing, mentioned it to one of the staff. He then pointed out one that was on sale, for a reasonable price. I now have the lawn mower, and the experience was very enjoyable. The staff were so helpful, and considerate.8 months agoCallam gives me the best advice. He was putting the paint in the aisle. He left straight away to help me. We have a 1-minute quick chat about 20 different sealants for water use. He knew his stuff. He knows the other aisle. I grab ten/items in 3 minutes from 22 to 52 to 40. This guy is a computer. Highly raccomand. Young! Smart!4 months agoI love shopping at this Bunnings. It is easy to get in and to get out. Ample parking and the store itself is quite big, and I can get what I need. I usually look on the website first to see where the items I need are located, that saves me time and I don’t have to search.4 months agoHas things needed. Getting help in the paint department is near impossible. We’ve had 4 goes at it and failed to be served, plus they didn’t know the answers to our questions. One of the younger staff members told me you can only get Chalkboard paint in black whilst we were standing in front of a sample of an Aqua Blue chalkboard. Front of house staff are lovely and a male staff member helped us in flooring even though it wasn’t his area. The flooring person also helped. They were both great.2 months agoThis would be the worst customer service i have ever received, actually there was no service. Went to buy a BBQ no one could help. Finally found someone and automatically no we dont have that, they did. Found it but no help you pick it up yourself. I said is this easy to assemble, got a shrug and a mumble and walked away.Asked about the stand, umm yeah its around the corner. Went up to checkout out and asked about swap and go, no idea then she put the wrong code in and locked the POS and looked at me as if i new how to fix it. Each person i encounted couldnt give a dam they are literally there for a paycheck. They need to practice what they preach on their TV ads.

I have been to over 200+ Bunnings stores over halfway around Australia and I have never been served so well as this Bunnings right here at Oxenford.
I’m very new to gardens and inquired with Greg in the garden centre.

After searching for a specific item and being sent to incorrect isle. I found the correct isle and space only to find no stock on shelf. After speaking with employee who suggested to find employee from trade tool counter, who again could not find item however after searching on computor which stated 13 units in stock, the employee then stated item would still be in storage area and not unpacked. He suggested I return to the store on Monday/Tuesday when stock should be available off the shelf. Living 12 kilometers away from the store I will not be returning and will purchase items from elsewhere.
Staff are always friendly and helpful. Items are hardly out of stock. And Michelle from the cafe is the star of this Bunnings. You can tell she is someone that sincerely caring and friendly. Please keep her!
