a year ago??????Our family loves the SG Asian Supermarket, it is one of few places I can get egg-FREE mayo without mustard. Parking is not far away, easy walk mostly to shop (just watch out for uneven road, not shops fault). I love that I can find many herbs and spices, husband and daughter love getting their Japanese food, I love that he can continue sharing his Japanese heritage with our daughter. Convenient location in town and we don’t have to travel to QLD or order online. Staff are lovely and friendly.a year agoAwesome Kim Chi, as well as loads of other Asian and Indian goodies. Nice friendly helpful woman who runs the place. Glad to see that although they were flooded out, they’ve set up shop at their house in Goonellabah. I have to share how grateful I am with the caretaker and other campers for saving my awning today.
I was not at the site when the wind picked up. A camper witnessed my awning struggling. He called out for Trevor, the caretaker, and other campers to fight the awning with the elements.
The outcome was 1 pole broken.
I know how much worse it could of been.

We went for the Lismore show
It was good
A lot there
The Lismore Show is always pretty good, and it attracts people all over town. However, the grounds are in need of some serious work; there are various structures here that are rusting, breaking or falling apart, and to be honest it makes the grounds look a bit dingy. If it was maintained better, this place would be top.
My favourite part is Skimmos food Van super delicious and brilliant friendly service. Hurry don’t miss out!!
We enjoyed our stay this time new campground manager very profesional and helpful our payment was recorded on the correct Camp Registration form and amenties much cleaner than previously. Previous Camp Ground manager Trevor Thompson – Baxter drank beer all day every day we were there and very unprofesional cash payments were recorded on scrap bits paper instead of using the provided Caming Registration form amenities were not clean. Thankyou Lismore Showgrounds for making the changes that have occured we will now return when next passing through and pass on to family and friends of the new changes once again thankyou
