This Thrift Shop is so freaking cool. There is so many collectible items and things that are quiet awesome to buy. I’m a big collector of Star Wars and PlayStation mostly oh and some Star Trek. This place has a little bit of everything! From Hot Wheels Collectibles, 2 action figures from the Marvel Universe, Star Wars, and TV shows. Came here with my wife and spent solid hour and a half just looking at stuff. And bought some things to LOL. We were visiting from Austin Texas. This is a great place to burn some time if you’re bored.

Saw some comments about the gentleman behind the counter in the reviews before I went and they weren’t very good. Well I gotta tell you that I found the gentleman very nice and funny. I go to alot of antique places in the USA and I will tell you this is one of the best ones I have been to. The prices are very reasonable also. If you are looking for anything specific ask the gentleman behind the counter because he probably has the inventory in his head! Thank you for a great experience!

No question about it. This place is only one of two places I go for my collectibles and Kids used toys. The guy at the desk is always smiling and friendly. Never have any problems, always seems to know what I’m looking for. Has a great sense of humor and creates the prefect positive atmosphere. If he can’t make you smile, then something’s wrong with you. I do mean you, Nancy!!!!

I was nicely greeted as soon as I came into the store. Helpful clerk, I purchased 2 items for a gift. Great place if you want an alternative to Hot Topic and less generic as well. Employee-Blonde guy with punk vest had a good demeanor, sounds like previous employees were not as nice. Don’t let this deter you from supporting a great local business!

Love this place hate comparing it to hot topic, but it was what hot topic used to be just trying some basis of comparison….anyhow, stop rambling, this place has an awesome selection of t-shirts, punk, horror, spooky stuffs. Cd’s, vinyl great selection. Lots of different collectibles, from salt shakers of Frankenstein and bride of Frankenstein to stickers, unique valentines day cards of slashers awesome collectible action figures, shades, belts, purses. This place is perfect for that black sheep of the family, or that goth girl that talks to herself, or that old guy that still thinks the cure is relevant. The owner is sweet and friendly, helpful and not pushy, give it a shot, support local.

The cashier had such an attitude. I was coming to buy a salt and pepper shaker and the cashier rudly screamed not to touch them when I was picking them so I didn’t buy anything (there was no sign saying not to touch them either bwt cuz i looked). Horrible way to conduct business, I won’t be back again. I’m 25 btw YOU RUDE CASHIER IM NOT A KID. AND I WILL BUY IT IF I BREAK IT.

If you’re looking for something totally unique and full of pleasant surprises to sate your curiosity then look no further than this hidden gem. The Red Door Vintage packs a lot of punch for a place with such cozy real estate. Fans of the bizarre knick-knacks, horror, goth/punky vibes, and handmade treasures will revel in the selection. From high grade masks to a vast array of shirts and artisan props as well as commercial merchandise, there is a marvel tucked into every nook and cranny.

Though the target audience is clearly those that are morbidly inclined in their tastes I can guarantee that most will undoubtedly find something to astound or pique their interest. Add to that the extremely courteous and receptive owner and you have a winning combo. A lot of her work (as well as that other talented local artists) can be found within and, let me tell you, it’s all an absolute delight. The craftsperson aura to some of the items for sale promises great variety upon repeated visits.

Long story short, The Red Door Vintage is the type of shop you hope to stumble upon more often than not. Eclectic, entertaining, and an absolute delight. Highly recommended.

  1. Pros: Never seen an antique place with so much stuff that it will take you several days to see everything. The place is huge, inside and outside. There are probably a million items in there . . Everything you can imagine. Prices are reasonable for most items.

Cons: Not well organized or maintained. Looks more like a junkyard. Many valuable items are just falling apart due to lack of proper care and maintenance. The place is not clean and full of dust.

I wouldn’t be surprised if you find scorpions or snakes amongst the stuff.

Also a safety hazard in my opinion. A fire will spread rapidly and out of control.

Very hot in the building. Inefficient or insufficient HVAC system.

No seating area or chairs for customers to take a break.

Overall, this place could be way better but then some people like dumpster diving.

  2. Whoopee Bowl is one of the coolest places to find a treasure you didn’t know existed. Just when you think you have seen it all there is probably more. Indoor and outdoor items galore. If you are looking for it, it will likely be there. Enjoy!

  3. What an amazing place! So many records, stoves, heaters, books, Pyrex, doors, and trunks, and beautiful furniture. You could spend a week in here and find new treasure everyday. You can even watch items get refurbished and brought back to life. Can’t wait to go back.

  4. This place should be on every Things to Do near El Paso list. I spent 15 minutes in the parking lot in the blazing sun before I ever made it inside. Inside, did not disappoint. Nostalgia, antiques, vinyl and a massive collection of parlor stoves are the 1st things that come to mind. Add oddities, vintage clothing, jewelry, and diningware. I spent 2 hours; I could have stayed for four.

♿️ The parking lot is gravel. A manual chair would have limited access to the main aisles on the lower level. There is a 2nd story. Most of the booths are too crowded. If you’re traveling with a friend it would be worth the effort.
