What to Consider When Visiting a Barbershop in Cranbourne
When going to a barbershop in the United States, there are several important factors to consider. These factors can help ensure that you have a positive and satisfying experience.
Firstly, it is important to research and choose the right barbershop for your needs. Look for reviews and recommendations from friends or family members. Consider factors such as the barbershop’s reputation, the skills and experience of the barbers, and the services they offer. This can help ensure that you find a barbershop that meets your expectations.
Secondly, it is important to communicate your haircut preferences clearly to your barber. Take some time to think about the type of haircut you want, and be specific about the length, style, and any other details. Bringing a picture or a reference can also be helpful in conveying your desired haircut. Clear communication can help avoid any misunderstandings and ensure that you leave the barbershop with the haircut you envisioned.
Here are some additional things to consider when going to a barbershop in the United States:
- Walk-ins or Appointments: Determine if the barbershop accepts walk-ins or requires appointments. This can help you plan your visit accordingly.
- Price Range: Consider the price range of the barbershop’s services and whether it aligns with your budget.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Take note of the cleanliness and hygiene practices followed by the barbershop. This includes clean towels, sanitized tools, and a clean working area.
- Barbershop Etiquette: Familiarize yourself with the barbershop’s etiquette. This can include things like how to address the barber, tipping practices, and expected behavior during the haircut.
- Additional Services: Determine if the barbershop offers any additional services such as beard grooming, hot towel treatments, or hairstyling products.
- Availability: Consider the barbershop’s operating hours and whether they align with your schedule. It is important to find a time slot that works for you.
- Customer Service: Pay attention to the customer service provided by the barbershop. This includes factors like friendly and professional staff, good communication, and a welcoming atmosphere.
By considering these factors and taking them into account, you can enhance your barbershop experience and ensure that you leave satisfied with your haircut.

2 weeks agoManaged to get into Barber’s Kingdom at short notice today via their easy online booking and so glad I did. Jafar and Abbas are both very friendly, professional and their premises are comfortable and very well presented. Abbas did a great haircut and style and I look forward to going back. Great job guys and thank you ?a week agoI’ve been going here for over a year now. Every barber in between that has been subpar in comparison. Always happy when I leave with the final product and the hospitality is always great. Thanks legends!!2 months agoJafar and Abbas are great barbers! No other Barber Shop in this area takes the amount of time and care that these guys do. Also, the online booking system is fantastic. I’ve been coming to Barber’s Kingdom for over a year, and I can easily say, they are the best barbers in Cranbourne. I highly recommend these guys!in the last weekBest barber in the area. Jafar does a top job on my hair everytime and won’t go anywhere else. My only regret is not finding out about here sooner when I moved into the area.4 months agoJafar is by far the best barber I’ve ever used. The boys are always extremely friendly and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere.Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews, they’re just bitter people who didn’t cancel their bookings before the 2 hours notice period.
The boys (Jafar and Abbas) are well known for having celebrities and footy players come for cuts, and it’s obvious why after giving them a go.
Highly recommended.

in the last weekSo disappointed with the barbers in this salon. You ask for something else and you get the same hairstyle .Spoiled my husband’s hair. We were supposed to go for a wedding and now we can’t. Please refresh your skills!a month agoFantastic service, great haircut and friendly staff. Good line of products and very meticulous attention used. Highly recommend.5 months agoI’ve been coming to Barber Realm for over a a few months now, this has to be the worst cut yet. Although the fade is blended well, the front of my hair looks straight up odd. Multiple times I tried to make sure and show the barber who was cutting my hair, the length and what I would like it to look like. He continued to say “yes that’s fine” but now I have ended up with a weird bowl cut with a taper fade on the sides and back yet I was charged full price regardedless of how my hair looks. I am not happy with the service and I am completely confused what to do with my hair without making it look stupid. The “textured fringe” I asked for is nothing close to the video I repeatedly tried to show in order to make sure it looks similar, not happy with the service this time around at all and now I can do nothing but wait for my hair to grow back… BarberRealm removed all my rizz.?6 months agoI’ve been a regular for the past 3 years but I’ve felt utterly frustrated with my most recent service at Barber Realm. I was given one of their new barbers after a very long 2+ hour wait, who somehow managed to butcher one part of my hair because they were in a rush (although I didn’t notice at first due to poor lighting that day). This was very unfortunate because I was hoping to propose to my gf on V-Day and don’t have the time to get this fixed as I work very long hours most days of the week. I get that it’s also very busy here but when prices have been raised and when the majority of us are willing to wait a very long time for a haircut, we do expect a decent service. Another reason for me giving a 1 star is because I’ve noticed that the numbering queue system is very terribly monitored in the past year with some people jumping the queue. Either way I won’t be coming back here after my last visit but please seriously upgrade your queue system and hire proper barbers for the rest of your loyal customers.3 months agoBrilliant!!! Service, service, service 110%! These guys provide an amazing service and don’t cut corners! These guys are true barbers!I only get my hair cut at Barber Realm, I don’t go anywhere else since changing to them! Best barber in South East Suburbs! ??
Okay so above is my review from one year ago. Folks I’m still going there! The barbers are all very friendly, the shop is clean and once again there service is 100%.
Maybe because of my review (jk ?) and word spreading around they are now very busy a-lot of the time.
There is pretty much always a wait these days so if you go pick your time carefully. Weekends, you’ll wait, after school pick up you’ll wait and nights you’ll wait! The wait times can be up to two hours so if you choose to go and take a ticket ask how long and maybe go to Aldi, Woolworths or Dan Murphy’s to shop whilst you wait.
Other wise there are plenty of places around the Marriott Waters shopping prescient that you can go to for a coffee or lunch whilst you wait.
If I didn’t think Barber Realm was worth waiting for I’d go some where else. But as far as I’m satisfied they are worth the wait! ??
Prices are fair and gentlemen you can get a shave or “clean up” done there as well. I must say a razor shave and a hair cut is the best! I leave feeling refreshed and pampered!!! ? (Yes blokes need pampering too ladies!!????)
Hope my updated review helps. ????

Took my 3 year old who had a bad experience with his first haircut and was petrified to go again. The whole team at Frank D’s were so warm and welcoming and somehow convinced my son to get a hair cut! The lovely barber spoke to him the whole time and made him very comfortable! Thank you team, he even said he wanted to come again! ??
Best barbers around by a mile. $35 cash only for a men’s style. Paddy, Frank and his team run an amazing shop. I won’t go anywhere else.
Great old school barber. Never fails on a good haircut. You wont be disappointed great atnosphere too
I’ve had my haircut by the same old lady 4 times in a row and on the 5th time she just shaved the sided of my hair and nearly all off the back so I look like a pineapple. Clearly by how it looks from the fade she did 2 weeks before would be a good indication and sombody who does 100s of em as a professional that I get a faded haircut. I shouldn’t have to explain in exact detail. And who in there right mind would go to a barber shop to not get a fade in 2023. I wanted to throw up as I was leaving I was that shocked. Never will return
They are all amazing and they really make you feel welcome
