a month agoBarely anybody sitting in there, the employee at the register was very quite and possibly a trainee, they couldn’t count the total properly and seemed to be under the influence of something. Does this roll look appetising to you? I don’t think so. We were tired of the oil sodden KFC in every local KFC outlet near to us, so we decided to try Red Rooster. We got the Fryer pack with potato and gravy and slaw. How refreshing to see them scoop out the potato and ladle the hot gravy over it and it tasted just like you’d make at home but can’t be bothered. The slaw, yum again just like you’d make at home but too lazy,none of the finely diced overly sweetened stuff you get from you know who. The fried chicken has crunch to it and is moist inside. If they sold a bucket of legs, I would be in heaven! Do they have 11 herbs and spices? No but they have crunchy yummy chicken, not weighed down by oil overdose. The staff have been friendly everytime we go there.

Today I bought food for my family and ordered, from the red rooster, I ordered the Giant Feast. There were 2 chips, 1 box of medium cut potatoes, coleslaw, 1.25l of Coke, 8 pieces of crispy chicken and 1 whole chicken. I was very disappointed after I opened the whole chicken to cut it, usually there is bbq seasoning inside the chicken, but today I bought there was empty.
The whole chicken from red rooster same as Costco chicken, for only $7/$8.
Better go to another red rooster restaurant.
Good place. I made an online order so that the order gets ready quickly. However, payment got deducted, but the order wasn’t placed. I had to go to the counter, tell the order, and show proof of payment in my bank statement. Good utilization of technology can be done to make it easier for customers.

Normally would love red rooster yet unfortunately my wife, daughter and I all fell crook after eating out from here 3 weeks ago. It was the only thing we ate that day and the next for that matter. Hope it’s only a once off
If you’re after a quick meal I wouldn’t go here. It took over 30 mins after ordering in drive through to get our order. They almost made us pay for it twice and no apologies on the wait time. Training and leadership of this store would make it run more smoothly.
