I recently had an incredible makeup experience with Kiara, deserving 5 stars.

Kiara’s expertise and technique transformed my look, while listening to my preferences. She explained each step and educated me about the products used. Kiara’s friendly demeanour created a welcoming atmosphere, and her attention to detail commendable.

I highly recommend Kiara for a personalised and educational makeup experience.

Additionally, I always turn to M-A-C Cosmetics for its exceptional quality and wide range of offerings.

I had such a wonderful experience at this store the other day! Elizabeth was knowledgeable and professional. She helped find my foundation shade and helped me pick out some lipsticks to go with my skin tone. She made the experience so easy and I will definitely be stopping in again.

1week ago I visited for the first time to have a special occasion makeup done. I was warmly greeted despite being of mature age. I imagined most of the clientelle would be young with youthful skin. The lovely Julia was my consultant/artist who was very knowledgeable, explaining what she was doing and reassuring me. I have hooded eyes. She was able to make my eyes bright and “pop”. Needless to say I was so happy with the outcome and it lasted all night long. I certainly appreciated the attention and expertise. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I have heard good things about this store and range. Staff are friendly but I don’t believe they have a way to sterilise their makeup for testers like their competitor downstairs does. But if you know what you like and you don’t need to test then you may love having a Mac store at Chermy.

Had An amazing first time experience here. My makeup artist listened to what I liked and gave me the most perfect finished look without any inspo pic! I felt amazing walking out of there and gorgeous the whole night! I got so many compliments too! The only thing I didn’t like was the chairs!! I’m a super short person and had to sit up very high because my MUA was tall and I was very uncomfortable. I just needed a stool or somewhere to put my feet! Will 100% go back here.

  1. Such a poor customer service… The woman that assist me today should do better. I’ve been a Mac customer for so long now and this is my first time to encounter a woman that so poor in customer service skills.

Whoever that are on duty today shouldn’t be there. Customer deserves more than what you’ve given in terms of assistance.

She needs more training by the looks at it. She appear to be a confident one by looking at me like I don’t know anything, what a shame! Am also a business woman and I know how to treat customer and make them feel welcomed.

You don’t know who are talking to.
Treat everyone with respect regardless of their cultures and looks.

  2. Went to the mt gravatt store today 14th. Stood there for 45 minutes waiting for the lady to return from lunch. She came in, locked the door behind her and went into the inner room for another 7 mins. Came out of the store to go continue her lunch. I polited approached her, explaining I have been waiting for long and I just want to buy my powder(which I know my shades already), wont have taken me 2mins to get and get out. She insisted she couldnt help me and had to go conclude her lunch break considering I travelled far. Very poor customer sales person.

  3. Love MAC so much and so stoked to find an in person store right here! Unfortunately the Christmas offer I was looking for online wasn’t available in store but the staff worker was friendly and I’m looking forward to booking makeovers here in the future now that I know where it is!

  4. I visited your Mt Gravatt store yesterday to take advantage of your 3 for 2 deal and to enquire about Studio Radiance foundation. Whilst there, I noticed that it was rather busy, which was fine as I was happy just browsing and trying to decide on what I wanted to purchase. The young gentleman who was assisting other customers gave me a smile and acknowledged me. Another staff member was applying makeup to a lady… again I was happy browsing. After a short while the young lady abruptly came over to myself and another customer and in a flustered manner said “Can I help anyone here”. I wanted to know the difference between Studio Fix & Studio Radiance which seemed to inconvenience this girl as she quickly pointed out “it’s a different formula”. Pressing for more information she repeated “it’s a different formula” several times without giving me any further information. I then asked “in what way is it different?”, to which her response was “have you got a problem with Studio fix”. She became increasingly irritated by my attempt to understand the difference and proceeded to give me slightly more information about the difference in coverage and colour. I stated that I wear NW25 in Studio Fix and she sharply replied that I would need a different colour. At this point i was no longer interested, as I felt that I was an inconvenience and didn’t know what further questions to ask. She then told me “We are really busy, having a malfunction and a staff member has called in sick”. I returned the products to the shelves and told her that perhaps it’s better I go elsewhere, where someone has the time to help me. She obviously picked up on my dissatisfaction and became slightly friendlier, by then it was too late as I was so taken aback with the attitude. I’m a patient person and understand things can get overwhelming when there’s a staff shortage but at the end of the day that treatment is unnecessary & I felt her attitude was condescending and impatient. She was also the one that asked the question and approached me, so I assumed that I was entitled to ask a question.
I was willing to make significant purchases and just wanted a little more help and sadly left empty handed. I’m actually tired of the lack of customer service as a whole and think it’s time that these shop assistants realise that it’s paying customers that keep them in a job.
