The service was great the muffins were very nice, with the coffees arriving at our table in a reasonable time. Will certainly be back

This Muffin Break used to be good a couple of years ago. I am not sure if it’s COVID or what is the issue but the food quality of this place has gone down drastically. I ordered a Chicken Filo and a hot chocolate from this place. Just could take 2-3 bites of the Filo, ate basically 2-3 bites of the outer layer by then. After that I had cut the Filo open and the filling didn’t smell good.. and some of the chicken filling looked raw and pink and some had some black residue on it. I immediately left the food as it was. Drank hot chocolate which was wasn’t good either but was ok-ok. After finishing the drink, I showed the lady the chicken with the black residue on it. She just said ‘no it’s not bad, it’s just some spice’ and said nothing else and took the tray as I was putting it away on the counter. I could see some black sesame seeds on top of the Filo but inside there were none. The smell wasn’t good and whatever it was I was already put off by it. All in all, not a good experience. Adding some gross photos, sorry but it is important for people to see and keep informed.
Absolutely enjoyed my visit with my children. My Flat White with a shot of Hazelnut was absolutely AMAZING!!!! My children very much loved their Hot Chocolate and Choc Chip Cookie. Would definitely come back again. With and without my children. Thank you to the lovely team.
They’re short staffed so a little patience is needed. However when our flat white and oatmilk hot choc did arrive they were top notch. We didn’t mind clearing a few tables to help them.
Delicious pie, good tasting drinks (Hot chocolate and Milo frappe ). There is plenty of seating and wifi provided. The staff are good and enthusiastic.
Muffin break at Luke’s is the best by far, it has everything a coffee shop should have …. owners are very friendly, fast service with smiles, remembers what coffee you order… extremely clean fast to clear tables… muffins are huge fresh and full of ingredients… highly recommend. It’s a 10+ for me in every aspect.
