a month agoWent there today & sat at a very dirty table for 45 mins without it being cleaned- not only our table was dirty but I counted 5 tables in all. My two other friends went to Kmart &I decided to wait for them when they returned they were disgusted that the table still had not been cleaned- now it was not that busy- we eventually had to ask a young girl to clean our table! Other people had also commented on the state of the tables & Macdonalds rubbish at one of them3 years agoI vote this Muffin Break cafe in Westfield Burwood a 5 out of 5 for the following reasons:Covid-19; there is hand sanitizer and a water station which has a sign saying ‘do not use the water fountain for hand washing’, adequate cleaning of the table surfaces and adequate spacing out of customers tables. Overall, good covid-19 policies and procedures in place.
Friendliness; Friendly service from the customer service people when ordering your coffee.
Service; good service and fast receive my coffee approximately 5 minutes after I ordered and had taken my seat. Food/ coffee; on this occasion I did not eat I ordered a large mocha and found that it was well priced, good temperature and a good tasting coffee.
Cleanliness; my table was clean and I noticed the waitress was regularly cleaning table tops she informed me that at this cafe, they use a special antiviral spray to ensure there are no germs on the surfaces and told me that all cloths are thrown out after two days.

a year agoI loved their muffins specially the pecan nut one, also the Chai latte was so good, during the afternoon they have a promotion of four muffins for $12, and the staff is so kind and nice.2 years agoToday I had a lovely coffee, nice and hot as requested, and a much appreciated gluten free muffin. As a coeliac, finding safe gf food when you’re out and about is not easy so thank heavens for Muffin Break! The young man who took the order was particularly pleasant too.5 years agoConveniently located inside westfield, it gets very busy. Staff are very friendly, coffee is good as are the muffins. Tried the new Duffin – a cross of muffin & croissant & was delicious! Available in custard or nutella filled.

We came here for a quick cuppa while shopping. We had Devonshire teas with English breakfast. What you’re given is a pretty basic set-up, but it is fairly cheap. You get two large scones and pot of tea for $6.90, which is ok. The tea isn’t loose leaf though, which is a little disappointing. When we ordered, the milk didn’t come in a jug, instead it was put in a takeaway coffee cup. I suppose that this is to be expected at a coffee shop in a food court. It just seemed odd that some of the order was given in crockery, but some wasn’t. For example, the plates were crockery but the knives were plastic. The cups were crockery, but the spoons were plastic. Odd. We can’t be trusted with metal cutlery? Their scones are lovely when warmed up.
The secretly homemade cheese cake and vanilla slices are must try. People here are so nice.
Great place and Alex is the most welcoming person. The coffees are good and we always look forward to having a break there on our walk.

This morning, I visited this place that compelled me to write my first-ever review. As a barista and coffee enthusiast, I find it challenging to find a satisfying coffee when I’m tired. However, this place exceeded my expectations. Despite its bustling atmosphere, the staff were exceptionally friendly, greeting me with smiles. Unsure about the muffin’s freshness, I hesitated while ordering, but I was pleasantly surprised. The coffee was expertly made, and the mango passionfruit muffin was both fresh and delicious. The warm demeanor of the staff lingered in my thoughts. I rate this place 100/10 and look forward to returning. To the wonderful front staff, you made my day significantly better with your exceptional service.
