3 weeks agoHuge selection of pet products for fishes all the way to horses. Cat and dog food range is vast and well laid out. This includes chilled meats. Staff are helpful and polite and love patting your doggo when you bring them in store. DIY paid pet wash station along with a grooming service are available, but I haven’t used the grooming service to comment. Heaps of toys and treats are available too.2 months agoDo not recommend adopting animals from here, I brought a guniea pig from there who was $50!!! And had phenomena, was fully neglected and skinny, had over grown moulders and he had to get surgery. Which cost 800$ my poor boy was too far gone and only got him for 3 weeks. And he passed away from the phenomena. I was heart broken because he was the most beautiful guniea pig. Look after the animals or don’t sell them! We got our money back from them thankfully after fighting for it. But DO NOT ADOPTION. They neglect there animals Not to mention the staff new he was sick. As she was like “are you sure you want this one” you could see his ribs He was alone he had no hay. Or food or no company. So I took him to give him a friend and yet he was soo far gone. Hope this place gets shut down as they obviously don’t know how to take care of animals will never be back!!!in the last weekNot good staff seems to be in a grumpy mood every time I go in there. Right next door to the vet, great service and good prices. They are even pet friendly and my dog loves to visit here, whenever we go to the vet we will always pop in to take a wander around the shop, you never know what you did not know you needed… We get all the things we need from here food to bedding to bowls or a leash. Friendly staff who seem to be passionate about animals. We love to visit this store.
Stopped in to get advice on my peach face love birds. Staff were happy to listen and offer advice. Suggested I use their online vet chat which I intend on using to get further advice on my pet birds as there is video call available and saves me stressing birds out by physically taking them to a vet. There is a neat range of goodies for all types of pets (bought my cat a cute feeding dish which is flat to avoid whisker fatigue!).
Large variety, spacious store with abundance of space for car parking. Being next door to a vet is an advantage.
Store is almost always well stocked and staff are friendly and helpful. Being a member helps with slight discounts in prices plus the ability to look up your purchases in case you need to return or exchange an item.
My older sister and I went to go have α look in the store and went to the male betta fish. Most of them looked unhappy and lethargic as the drip tanks they are put in were extremely small. I know from going to other pet shops like petbarn their drip tanks are almost twice the size. One of the tanks had α black cover over it and my sister was curious so she pulled it back, thinking it was an empty tank. To our surprise, there was α dead betta behind the cover that looked like it was sitting there for α day or 2 (don’t have any clear photos, sorry). I don’t understand why they didn’t take it out, and although it was covered, α kid could have easily taken it down and would have saw that. The sight was quite upsetting.
However, there was 1 female betta at the store and I felt bad for it after looking at the others so I asked α lady if I could have it. The worker was wonderful so although I was upset by what I saw, I still want to give credit where it’s due.
They stock the treats we were looking for that we can’t find anywhere else! Staff was friendly and really helpful. We were there shopping the other day with my own dog and a puppy I’m babysitting at that time. They really had fun browsing the treat section. Puppy had a little accident inside and I notified the staff apologetically. They cleaned it up right away and were very accommodating. Again I’m so sorry for the mess. Will definitely be back with my own dog as she loves to go out with me to shops and this one definitely is now our favourite go-to!
