8 months agoOutstanding cheesecake shop…this shop has out done itself with our wedding cake…you have done a beautiful job with our cake… We both thank you for helping our day be a beautiful one with your creation… Update We had our wedding on the Saturday after picking up the cake it was a beautiful day…until Until it was time to cut the cake. My new wife and I tried to cut the cake as you do at a wedding… It felt like we was cutting into a block of cement and as we dragged the knife down the cake just crumbled and broke apart as if the cake was a 100 yr old cake…the taste was disgusting… We contacted the shop and they ended up telling us that the cake was made with truffle icing and was not ment to be put in the fridge…when we bought the cake we asked how long would the cake last in the fridge and was told about 10 days…nothing was said that the cake was not ment to be in the fridge… Cheese cake shop let us down on our special day.. One go thing is the shop did give us our money back but we won’t get the memories that we had hoped for…a week agoWouldn’t go anywhere else. Got my three adult son’s & daughter’s birthday cakes from the shop and they were absolutely awesome and beautiful. ?4 months agoGreat showcase, and Good quality products. It’s “ok”. Very convenient to the train station and pretty consistent. Staff are nice enough.
The savoury items are usually a little salty to accomodate for people usually drinking sweet things with them or drowning in sauce. Not bad, but noticeable compared to more gourmet locations. Mushy peas are sweet though so play a role to balance them out.
Left: Steak, tomato and onion with mushy peas added. Would love to see and taste more onion and tomato.
Right: Jalapeño. Did not get any of the spice flavour at all, but the cheesiness was at the top and added a good creamy textural component.
Is it 5 stars? No. Is it a solid bakery when you just want a pie and to get going? Yes. It fulfils its purpose.
I’m visiting from Tasmania and stopped in for a pie as I was feeling a little hungry. Decided on a steak and mushroom pie. To say it was a disappointment is an understatement. Pastry dry. Filling too salty. Really awful. Will not be returning
Ordered Spinach & Feta parcel and coffee frappe (and mentioned ask to make it thicker). I just realised that I got cauliflower&broccoli parcel when I bit the filling in the parcel, when I asked the other server, she said they only had cauliflower&broccoli on that time (hopefully it’s not happened to someone who has special dietary or at least communicate first before giving whatever they want).
My frappe came after 15mins wait and it’s not thick frappe, pretty much like ice late with some ice. I come here weekly for waiting before getting on bus/train. Order almost the same thing every week, but there is no consistency for frappe. I hope you have standards about how to make frappe, so no matter who makes it, it’s gonna be same, not only 1 or some people can make good frappe.

Jackie was very friendly, well spoken and answered all of my questions supplying me with the information i required and suggesting other items available.
Jackie went above and beyond helping me today, her willingness to satisfy my queries today was such a surprise because I’ll be honest I can’t even remember the last time I received genuine customer service like I did today with Jackie.
To the owner of CJ Pastries in Caboolture Jackie is the right person to have as the face and the voice of your company. She s one in a million and your lucky to have her working for you, treasure her!

Absolutely disgusting behaviour shown towards people who are less fortunate and homeless within the area. One particular staff member needs training in customer service and compassion regardless of the circumstances.
