in the last weekThe fresh fish sold here is exactly that…fresh! We stopped by this bustling fish market for some cooked fish. Our order was battered cod with chips. The cod was pure white, chunky & perfectly cooked. Only peeve we had was the batter wasn’t as crunchy as we like it, went soggy very quickly & we dined in. Chips were great, with a nice crunch & seasoned salt.in the last weekWe got takeaways for our family of 7. Tried a variety of foods including the burgers, battered fish, grilled fish, salads and oysters. I think people hype things up too much on online reviews. Visiting Caloundra, we were looking for somewhere nice to eat. RSL clubs are always good value, and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. We were greeted with a smile and a friendly hello on entry. Shown where the restaurant was. We ordered our meals at the counter (not on a stupid app like most places), and they arrived very quickly. The food looked great and tasted even better.
The club was bright and colourful and had a great atmosphere. Strongly recommended it.
Caught up with Steve Cummins (Neil Diamond Tribute Show) and a 2-course meal included in the ticket. Fab performance as usual by Steve; the venue was very comfortable; tables set very nicely & all staff were very friendly & helpful. The meal was delicious & sized well for lunch, allowing room for the yummy dessert!
Overall, a great day out & definitely worthy of the drive up from Brisbane. Thank you all at Caloundra RSL!
Ribs and schnitzel is pretty good. Fast service and pleasant staff. There’s a Military Museum downstairs I didn’t even know existed but only open few a few hours three days a week, but would be interesting. Trivia on Tuesday. Meals quite expensive. Was a good meal though.
Very nice club. Good vibes, friendly staffs and clean. Best chicken snitzel I have ever eaten. It’s tasty, crunchy, and moist. Highly recommended!!
Visited the RSL last weekend with a group of ladies from the Gold Coast. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff, looked after with drinks and food by friendly, efficient staff and had a fantastic time dancing to the great band. A special mention to Bronnie and Jennifer, who looked after us in the bar area. If ever we are up there again we will be back. Thankyou for contributing to a great weekend.
