7 months agoI have been using Rocket Remit for some time, and on a very regular basis. Day by day, the service has become eratic. Looks like complacency is creeping in. There seem to be issues, excuses and irregularities. In a business like this, consistency is of paramount importance.After sending money to be loaded, it takes minutes usually, as of late, they have explained that it takes 24hrs to load on weekdays.
Anyway, I truly thought that this service platform was different from the others. My last provider ran off with a substantial amount of money. Gotta find a new provider.

4 months agoI have been trying for over a month now to have the money in my account returned. Still waiting. This is a very dishonourable. It’s my money. I don’t require to use the service and therefore my money should be returned. Be very careful with this outfit.a year agoRocket Remit is so easy and convenient. In minutes, I’m able to add recipients or send money.Rocket Remit is very reliable, and their customer service is excellent and responsive. Over the last 3 years using Rocket Remit, I have completed several hundred transactions to the 11 families that I support in Ethiopia, Uganda, Nigeria and the Philippines, and only one transaction was delayed because of a local server failure in Kampala, Uganda. When this happened, Rocket Remit refunded the transaction amount and advised me when the server was back in service, allowing me to successfully complete the transaction again.

Just wish I could send more than the maximum of $500 at a time. Having done the run around all over town and many phone calls, Red Rate Currency Exchange offered a higher rate than the bank (Commonwealth as many other banks do not deal with foreign cash). I will be going back there from now on.
