Brilliant stop over, we have a trailer and were given 10 b Campsite. It is not level here so ask for another one. Fine for a tent though, the sand has encroached the site. Bathroom spotless and great shower. Restaurant breakfast great. Ice-cream at the shop.
Wow, what excellent service from everyone at the lodge. Want to thank Allison for her excellent customer service and her personal touch. We were very late due to car trouble and Allison kept on checking in with us and arranged for us to be welcomed with a smile. The accommodation is also perfect and we will highly recommend this lodge to all travellers
Came here with family and it was exactly as the pictures.
There is however just some things I need to point out which they can improve on.
There was wifi, however there is no “welcome file” with information stating what the password is, no Emergency contact numbers, the timings for their restaurant and if I knew that you can’t purchase alcohol from their store on a Sunday, I would have made sure I purchase in advance.
They do mention what the times are of the restaurant and more info upon arrival, however if you just travelled for 4 hours, a piece of paper with all the info would be convenient.
The bathroom amenities was not refilled – it was below half (coming from someone who works in the hospitality industry) you refill amenities after each stay. The shower’s amenities weren’t refilled either, and the disgusting part was, that the shower was defnititly not cleaned prior to our stay. There was still used floss ontop of the amenity bottles in the shower….
Otherwise it was very nice. Great location and very nice staff.
Location close to Kgalagadi Park. Very nice setting, nice restaurant, oasis in the dune route. Did breakfast, good service. Also small shop for basic necessities.
If you are traveling to the Kgalagadi Reserve and can’t find accommodation then this is the place, 5km from the gate. The staff are amazing and friendly, always great you with a smile. The food at the restaurant is outstanding ? we camped here and loved it, each camp site has is own ablution, there is a pool with WIFI at the pool area.
You won’t regret staying here, we loved it
