9 months agoTaste is okay but they charged me $20 for a vegetarian chickpea curry. It was tiny…. Apparently cheaper with rice. Too pricey for what it is. Won’t be coming back. Please go and check out the varieties- they are awesome???4 years agoI love this place and I don’t say that lightly. It is very fairly priced and the food always comes out with more than enough. You find all the classic Indian dishes here in a basic fast food style setting. I appreciate how simple it is especially considering the price point. The meal deals they have are great value and really good if you have a hectic workday and just need some quick food and then go hang out in the park.

Patron was amazing, he did the best he could to cater for diet restrictions I have. The chef wasn’t keen on making exceptions ended up with onion rings with chickpeas mix. Not bad though but lack of flexibility is the problem for some… overall the ambiance was good. I will give another try to try get a better experience where I can have a choice in their menu. We came all the way from Sydney and had high expectations . We visited today and order food and after we gave our order other people started to come . Everyone who were after us got their order and we waited for more than 45 mins for our order and the staff treated us like we didn’t even exist. We felt disrespected, discriminated The entree was good but the main meal was worst and the only taste and smell we felt was of curry leaves. So disappointed
Food was brilliant, we had the entree mixed platter, beef korma and malai kofta. The beef korma was outstanding!
The only downside were the stairs – not good for the elderly or people with physical disabilities.
Absolutely delicious food and stunning dinner. We got two mains, rice, and loads of naan to share and it was so delicious. The paneer makhani was incredible. We were both fighting over the last bits with our naan. All this at an amazing price, we were ready for a satisfied nap right after.
We had dinner at this restaurant. Food was amazing. I had Indian food in Sydney and taste was much better than Indian restaurant in Sydney. I will strongly recommend Indian food lover who will travel to Armidale.
