2 months agoShelves were all a mess, struggled to find products.
Rubbish all over the isles.
Empty cardboard boxes on the shelves.
Mouldy “fresh” products on the grocery shelves (cream cakes, bakery products, produce).
Spills on the floor that no one was cleaning up, no caution signs, etc.
Overall the shop was very disappointing. 4 months agoI enjoy shopping here but they can do better with opening more tills at busier times. It is a nice Woolworths to visit as it is in the Market place where you can get most other shopping done as well. Huge free car park available.5 months agoThe experience I had today in this store left me feeling uncomfortable and upset. The staff hardly engage in eye contact and when I entered the self service area wasn’t greeted at all. In fact I said “hi, how are you going today?” With no response from the staff in that area. I then overheard a very loud and obnoxious conversation of an upset staff member complaining to three others about shifts and how sick of the management he is. Profanity was used and could be heard by all customers in the self service area. Whoever was the senior staff member on shift failed in their role and there was plenty of opportunity to try and diffuse this situation and potentially spoken to this individual in private to set work boundaries.5 months agoVery nice place selling a variety of stuff at discounted prices. Parking is easily accessible, wheelchair accessible entrance as well. It is a place that I would probably revisit.8 months agoI was just served by ‘June’ at the Kennington store and she was an absolute delight. She took the time to explain the app to a customer and then me. She helped with my collection of glasses using points and nothing was too much trouble. It’s nice to get good, helpful service June, thank you.2 months agoOnly go to Woolwoorths because we were at the marketplace and only wanted 2 items. They don’t have the range of Australian products that Coles have.

I live near this supermarket but I drive miles not to encounter the Rude and Arrogant self services staff. Of course there are the exception but on the whole I find this staff wanting of some extra training how to be polite.
Just remember if you work in THIS industry you are there to service the public with a smile.
If you don’t like your job may I suggest work as a correctional officer which would be more to your liking.
Overall a terrible Woolworths store probably one of the worst I’ve ever been to.
Recent refurbishment helped slightly but it’s the staff that that bother me. Rude, unfriendly, poor dress standards, seems like no one is setting a standard here and no one is being held accountable. Poor presentation of store its untidy especially down the back where there’s a rack of random products with missing tickets.
Will shop elsewhere from now on.
Usually my go to stop for shopping, but tonight’s experience made it so much better, Reagan and other workers went above and beyond in a situation they didn’t need to help with.
Would definitely recommend always going there for supportive and friendly staff

Dystopian ‘self-service’ checkouts increasingly dominate as there are less and less actual human staff to interact with. Given Woolworths has just been caught out underpaying their human staff long service leave, perhaps this is their way to avoid it. What a horrible experience it was being in this store. The actual staff there are nice but there are not enough of them. Considering the profit margin of Woolworths and the amount of single-use plastic you are peddling, would it be so hard to provide a few people with employment?
