Needed to print some posters, ordered through click & collect online. Order was ready the next day. I had to go in to this branch as it was the closest I could get to ASAP despite all the 1 star reviews. Went after 8pm. I went to the click & collect pick up area but no one attended (it’s also behind a pole and staff can’t really see you?) so I joined the line and collected from the counter, which I didn’t mind. Staff that helped me got my order and I was out within 5mins. So I didn’t have a bad experience per say, but staff could look a little more welcoming.

2 stars because of the product/quality, one poster printed with a white border despite me filling the whole template pass the dotted border (probably depends on the skill of the person printing the job) and also the colours was a different colour than my design. But I have no time to go back and ask for a reprint, I will have to trim the white border off myself.

So if you need any quick printing done at this branch, I suggest ordering it online to avoid any rude encounters.

I thought I would get my company awards for my staff printed here.. well big mistake as shared on previous reviews artwork or file you submit won’t be the exact finished product… I am actually quite disappointed because if you see a clients file is not matching with finished product wouldn’t you check it and try to fix or re print? I am just appalled that they charge their customers for a service and product… however they don’t double check to ensure it’s exactly as customers ordered

Bro I wish I could give 0 – but I see that I’m on the same page as everyone else.

For starters, they take forever, and it’s like very clearly on purpose. Definitely no hurry to serve anyone who’s been standing there looking at you for 20 minutes. But then, this older lady who works there shows up for her shift in a huff, “I’m already at my wits end today” and was like yelling-complaining for the entire 30 minutes I was standing there.

So I get to the front finally, and I’m just needing to pick up an order, but there was some things that i wanted cut out so I asked her how much to get them cut? And she was like ‘ugh are you serious’ and then turns around to the other lady and tells her and she goes ‘what the hell that wasn’t on the order’, and I was like yes I know, I’m literally ASKING how much to do it? And I wanted it so I was like yes please do that, and she went on about how hard this would be for her and that she will make me wait to pick it up until the very last minute the next day because of how hard it is – and I’m thinking like bro, how hard is it to cut some things out?? That would take 20 minutes max.

I think I’m just frustrated by the attitude of “I’m doing you a favor” and “woe’s me – my job is so hard”. Woman, step down, you work at Officeworks, you print and cut things out for a living like chill.

What I asked for is LITERALLY YOUR JOB, why is that so hard for you??

I recently had a few printing issues which required me to go back to officeworks multiple times. The young girl that served me was very helpful, patient and kind, however the reason for this review is due to an older lady in charge of printing.

This older lady was extremely rude. She saw that I was back again with the same printing…saying “not this again” and rolled her eyes…right in front of me. This lady needs to work on her customer service. I never write reviews but this upset me.

Indeed, your experience at this Officeworks depends on a variety of variables ? The experience level of the staff can range from expert to total noob. Printing lines can be a long wait depending on the time of day and whoever decided to scan and print a entire book ? Printing a poster exactly how you want can be very frustrating without some knowledge of computer graphics. At the end of the day it is my local Officeworks and I appreciate the products and deals that are available there. I will give it a generous 3 ⭐’s despite the shenanigans I’ve experienced there ?

  1. Nicky helped me to print my child’s birthday invitations. I was so impressed with her customer service! She was very responsive although she was busying serving other customers. She also provided genuine feedback on the print, and she was willing to work with me until I was completely satisfied with the results.
I really appreciated Nicky’s willingness to go the extra mile. She worked in the customer’s interest and made sure that I was happy with the final product. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great customer experience.

  2. I got here at 9am right on opening. I wanted to print 75c worth of photos. I left the store at 9:45.
The self serve printer wasn’t working so I was forced to join the line at the counter that had somehow formed despite there being maybe 10 people total in store. There was one girl working the counter who was unfortunately struggling with a difficult customer and a broken printer (I’m seeing a pattern) all of this would have been fine stuff happens. Except a short haired older woman who I assumed was the manager, just watched this line get longer and the people in it more frustrated. When she finally did something about it she asked another poor girl who was already serving the line at the till to step in. While continuing to not be very helpful herself.
I don’t normally care about this sort of stuff retail can be brutal. But come on this was just sheer laziness on the managers part.

  3. Terrible Experience at Office Works Blacktown

I recently visited Office Works Blacktown and I must say, it was an incredibly disappointing experience with print and copy. The queue was excessively long, and there was a noticeable lack of assistance from the staff. After patiently waiting, I was informed that I couldn’t use my own paper, which was a surprising policy. This left me frustrated and dissatisfied with the overall customer service.

  4. I have to join the queue of disgruntled people list. I am convinced that this store doesn’t know the meaning of the words “customer service” and how to provide it consistently well.
Some ladies at the check out and the ladies and lads on the special orders desk are professional and friendly.
But picking up online orders at this store is becoming increasingly labour intensive and you actually have to push hard for staff to look for orders, which wastes precious time as well.
Providing feedback to the store is pointless as no one calls back.
I only shop here because it’s convenient to the station.
I understand it’s a busy store but there’s no excuse for making the customer feel like they are in the wrong. Really underwhelming experience.
Try a quieter store like McGraths Hill where they consistently deliver good customer service.

  5. Worst or i can say no customer service. Waited 40 minutes so that someone can get me the laptop that i wanna buy. But they don’t Care. There was a guy in that section ( long blonde hair) who was useless. Didn’t bother to acknowlede me or say something like i will get someone else to help you or say like it won’t be long , when he was with another customer for whole 40 mins.

At last i left the store because it was closing time. Then i went toThe Good guys and bought my laptop with great customer service.

Avoid this worst place and save your time.
