a year agoA wonderful place with lots of interesting things to spark your interest. I dropped in out of curiosity and I am glad I did! A cool vintage market in SOWA on Harrison Ave. at the corner of Paul Sullivan Way. Lots of jewelry, old records, art, clothing, glassware, lamps, books, you name it! A little bit of the past tucked away in this fun vintage marketplace! 🙂a year agoBest vintage market at downtown Boston. Many selections and friendly owners. Restrooms are located at 2F~4F on both sides of the building.4 months agoI don’t have anything to buy, but it’s worth seeing on Sunday.3 years agoThe best authentic vintage market ever!!! So many options indoors. There’s another market outdoors too, and a whole market dedicated to small food companies. Really really awesome. Inside downstairs can get a little stuffy but worth it with the range and variety of items available. 🙂a year agoA superb thrift shop with all sorts of awesome unexpected finds. Even if you don’t end up buying anything, you’ll have a good time.

3 weeks agoA great spot to visit in Cambridge! If you love antique maps and postcards there is no better place to visit. The other antiques were very interesting as well including old Vogue and New Yorker magazines in such great condition. Very reasonable prices for everything and a great spot to buy a gift or just browse some history.2 months agoAlways a nice shop to visit on a trip from out of state. Browse vintage transit items and maps from all over the world. The packing of most of the maps is already display / picture frame ready at an affordable price. Store photo current as of 7/12/239 months agoI worked with the owner to custom print an oversized map and custom cut it to fit several frames to create a custom installation in my home that showed a historical map of the area. Steven worked with me to find the most appropriate solution to the slightly different aspect ratio working to address where the cut lines were and to fill in the gap space. He also custom scanned the map at a higher resolution which preserved all the detail at the blown up scale. I’m delighted that he was able to translate my vision to reality and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. The website was easy to use to find exactly the map I wanted and he and his staff were a delight to work with. If you have any ideas like this that you’d need to partner with someone to bring to life this is the place to go!5 months agoThis is one of my favorite stores in Cambridge. I love antique maps and postcards, and Ward Maps is one of the few places in the area where I can get my fix. They have a particularly large selection of Boston-area maps, along with some awesome transportation memorabilia.4 years agoI had a great experience here! My boyfriend and I visited WardMaps with the intention of buying a fairly specific map. We wanted a large map of Newton, Massachusetts. One that included our street. Since our street is on the edge of the city limits this proved a bit difficult. The young lady working (unfortunately I forget her name!) was so helpful and informative. Since we couldn’t find what we were looking for on display, she showed us their online database. She explained how the database works and what we should search for. They have a large monitor set up in the shop so we were able to do the online search together and with her guidance. She gave us time alone and checked back in on us which was appreciated. In the end we found exactly what we were looking for! We ordered the map to be framed by WardMaps (framing was reasonably priced!) and were told it would be ready within a couple of weeks. We now have the map and it’s framed and hanging on our living room wall! WardMaps is a gem!

This is probably the biggest antique store I have ever been in my live. A five stories building with more than a thousand of statues, paintings, and valuable antiques. This place is literally a museum that you can spend at least 2 hours here browsing. I strongly recommend people to stop by here if visiting Boston.
Spare some hours to fully enjoy all 4 floors of antiques findings. If I was to be living here longer I’d certainly grab a bunch of furniture in great condition that is preserved in the lowest level. Other floors are full of incredible pieces of memories. Enjoy!
Huge vintage store with lots to ruffle through (5 floors including the basement). It’s organised as stalls by different vendors. I have been told they get new inventory on a daily basis.
5 floors of amazing antiques. I really could’ve stayed there all day long. I got some fantastic deals. There’s something for every collector!
The staff was exceptionally friendly. They have parking as well. Did I mention 5 floors?!
Some lovely antiques, but the people there were downright horrendous. Not only was everything overpriced, but the people at the register were so bitter. They were so rude to the customer in front of me because he misunderstood a sign and mocked him in a childish tone when he said he couldn’t purchase his item. They continued to gossip about him once he had left the store, and I felt really uncomfortable as they checked me out. They need a serious attitude change!
