2 months agoMy appt was 9:30am but sent a no show invoice at 9:08am. Was waiting at 9:30 for telehealth to no avail except and advance chase of their money. It seems the reviews are right! I was upset and reception just simply hanged-up and claimed i was cursing to avoid the situation. I missed my chance to see a GP during a time I needed the most at the end I was unlucky enough to encounter a horrible experience with this clinic.3 months agoImogen would have to be the most friendliest receptionist that i have ever come across. How she treats everyone is just amazing. Nothing is ever too hard. What an asset to the medical centre. Thank you!3 months agoGreat Practice ! Docrors, Nursing staff and Reception Staff absolutely wonderfully helpful, caring and on the ball. Thank you all for taking care of my husband and me. a week agoThe UFS Chemist on Sturt Street has always been the one to go to for what you need, from scripts filled to gifts to almost anything! As the sign says though ‘Be patient and kind’. As while the Ballarat Population grows, not all ‘shops’ have as much Staff as they did in the ‘olden day’s’ ?a month agoThe pharmacist kindly organised a Webster pack for my mother on short notice. Polite, friendly and professional. Thank you5 months agoGreat prices, busy place but they are very efficient. Recommend when get ur prescriptions filled. Browse there store while u wait.5 months agoI’ve been a UFS member for many years Service always great, the 24 hour Sturt st UFS is my go to as well as Bridge mall and Buningyong UFS Maybe a little more pricy for some meds, but offset by great sales and member discounts. Pharmacists and staff very helpful and friendly!3 months agoI was having a nose bleeding there while waiting for my medication in line. The nurse worried about my nose and suggested me to go to ED

Planning to Visit an Australian General Practitioner? Here’s What You Should Consider!
When visiting a general practitioner (GP) in Australia, there are several things to consider to ensure you have a successful and efficient visit:
- Appointment: In Australia, it is advisable to make an appointment to see a GP, as walk-in consultations are uncommon. Calling ahead or booking online can help you secure a convenient time for your visit.
- Medical history: Prepare any relevant medical records or information to share with the GP. This can include past diagnoses, current medications, allergies, and previous test results. It is also important to inform the GP about any family history of medical conditions.
- Symptoms and concerns: Make a list of all your symptoms and concerns before the appointment. This will help you communicate your needs effectively to the GP and ensure no important issues are overlooked.
- Questions: Prepare a list of questions you would like to ask the GP. This can include queries about your symptoms, potential treatments, preventive measures, or any doubts you may have about your health.
- Previous treatments and medications: Inform the GP about any previous treatments or medications you have tried, as well as their effectiveness or side effects. This information can help the GP in making an accurate diagnosis and choosing appropriate treatment options.
- Lifestyle factors: Be prepared to discuss your lifestyle habits with the GP, such as exercise routines, diet, alcohol consumption, smoking, and stress levels. These factors can have a significant impact on your health and may influence the GP’s advice or recommendations.
- Health insurance: If you have private health insurance, bring your membership card and any relevant documents to the appointment. This will ensure that the GP can bill your insurer directly and simplify the payment process.
- Follow-up appointments: Discuss with the GP if any follow-up visits or tests are necessary. It is important to understand the next steps in your healthcare plan and adhere to any recommended actions or treatments.
By considering these factors and being prepared, you can make the most out of your visit to a general practitioner in Australia. Remember that open communication and collaboration with your GP are critical in maintaining your health and well-being.

Very happy with my visits here twice last week. The vet, nurses and receptionists are great to deal with and were very kind in helping me to manage my dog.. very hard when I have chronic pain and she is a large, strong dog. Highly recommend them.
45kg Bull Arab damaged ACL, he’s vet reactive. This was his follow up visit from surgery. Everytime we attend the staff are friendly, understanding and very patient. Never wait too long if have appointment. Highly recommend.
I have been taking my dogs to Eureka vet clinic for many years. They provide a very friendly, professional service & the various vets I have seen over the years have always been great with my dogs. Thoroughly recommend this veterinary clinic. ?
The team hear are amazing. We had a late night emergency with our older dog and they were very helpful with treating him. Sadly scrappy put up a good fight but 2 months later we had to say goodbye to him.
The team here were so caring, thoughtful with what had to be done. One of the vet nurse even had a tear in her eye which showed how much she cared.
To top things off a fee days later a handwritten card arrived in the mail from them expressing their sympathy at our loss.
In all my years of having pets I have never had this happen before.
Eureka Veterinary Clinic were caring for our cat, Muffin, over the past few days. The care and compassion we have received from all staff members has been outstanding and we truly believe Muffin was so well taken care of. Special thanks to Dr Rylan, who performed Muffins surgery and subsequent treatment. Unfortunately Muffin needed to be euthanised in the end but we are truly grateful for everything Dr Rylan and the team did for our boy.
