Been coming here for a few weeks now as this is now my regular 7-eleven. I have met an older gentleman who seems to be the fulltime worker at this location and he has always given me lovely customer service with a smile. I appreciate the attempt at an upsell and I’m sure one day I’ll crack and buy a 2$ chocolate bar. This bloke is always in a cheerful mood and makes my slurpee trips all the more worth it.

The staff member was rude, wasn’t helpful, didn’t listen to requests and lied outrightly about the freshness of a food item. Attempted to get a refund on a crispy cream donut after taking one bite and realising that it was very stale, was refused due to the bite having been taken out of it.

No sense of customer service And the guy was furious at me as I did something wrong I just asked for the price of milk as there was not price tag in the fridge. I think he was the manager/owner he acted like he owned the hurlston park area. I never saw this kind of service anywhere. He was really rude to me. I think he has no idea what is he doing there? I think he should learn how to talk and how the customers should be treated. I don’t know how he got the job in the first place with all this behaviour.

Paid for my full tank and sneakily charged me for a coffee that I didn’t even buy, and was reluctant to give me a receipt

Usually there’s a guy there who tries to upsell chocolates about to go off, he’s persistent but just annoying. Today a guy just scanned a chocolate bar without asking, didn’t apologise or acknowledge me when I asked him to take it off the total. Pretty scummy way to make a few extra $$, usually come here just cos it’s convenient but it’s turned me off

  1. Tiny little shop but every inch of the space is filled up with treats and emergency groceries for when the supermarket is shut. Three coffee machines and all working.7/11 was usually my go to place for a cuppa and a glazed doughnut.

  2. Located at about 5 minutes walking distance from Parramatta station and close to Parramatta square. Average stocks of soft drink items, ice creams and snack based food items. Could be much better in terms of items availability and service timings.

  3. One of the worst 7-Eleven stores I have been to. The product availability is next to zero.

1 – I have been there 4 times to get a slurpee only to find out the slurpee machine was out of order due to unavailability of Co2 cylinders.

2 – Went there twice to claim my free reward, that was a Starbucks iced coffee for the month October, but it was not available. Just imagine not being able to execute the monthly promotion.

3 – Smoothie machine was not in working order as 2 slots were empty and one of the flavors was expired already. Like WTH? Are you selling expired stuff to the customers?

4 – The hot food wasn’t even marked in the pie warmer. Who knows for how long had it been sitting in the cabinet? Maybe 10 hours?

I know all this stuff as I have been working on 7-Eleven for almost 3 years now. And I must say this store has got nothing to delight the customers.

  4. I recently stopped by the 7-Eleven on Parramatta for some late-night snacks and was very disappointed with the service. Upon arriving at the store, I noticed a sign stating that the store was not servicing customers from the window tonight. As someone who relies on the convenience of 7-Eleven’s 24-hour service, I was shocked and frustrated by this news.

In the past, I have visited this 7-Eleven location late at night and always found it to be a reliable spot to grab a quick snack or drink. However, this recent experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. It’s incredibly inconvenient to arrive at a 24-hour store only to discover that they are not serving customers through the window.

As a customer, I expect 7-Eleven to uphold its commitment to providing round-the-clock service. By failing to serve customers from the window, this store has not only inconvenienced me but also failed to deliver on the promise of 24-hour convenience.

Furthermore, the lack of communication about this change in service is unacceptable. There were no signs or notices posted outside the store prior to my arrival, leaving me and other potential customers in the dark about the altered service hours.

I hope that 7-Eleven takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues at this location. Customers rely on 24-hour stores like 7-Eleven for their convenience and accessibility. By failing to serve customers during their stated operating hours, this store has let down its loyal patrons.

In conclusion, I was severely disappointed by the lack of service at the 7-Eleven on Parramatta tonight. I hope that the store management takes steps to rectify this situation and ensures that customers can once again rely on their 24-hour service. Until then, I will be reluctant to return to this location for my late-night convenience needs.

  5. Abysmal store. I guess that this store is technically open 24 hours, but after a certain time of night you’re going to have to scream your order into some pathetic night window of bulletproof, and by extension soundproof, glass. That is, if the cretin on duty at the time isn’t hiding out the back, mindlessly chattering away on his phone to every single family member back on the subcontinent. What on earth they find to blather about every day, every day, every day for hours on end is anyone’s guess, but I was of the impression that YOU ARE THERE TO WORK! I’m sure 7/11 isn’t paying you to gossip about absolutely nothing while customers are outside dodging the various street vermin of Parramatta all wanting spare change. It’s not convenient having a soundproof glass window right where our faces are when you’re trying to order at 3am and it’s not convenient to have to order one can of drink 6 times with increasing levels of volume before this fool manages to hear me. I get that 7/11 want to protect their staff but if this is the best you can find amongst the thousands of people currently out of work, then maybe the moronic herd could use a little thinning.
