4 months agoI’ve tried and tested a variety of items from this bakery, let alone against other bakeries. The vanilla slice is the best slice in the entirety of Ipswich! They provide friendly service. One time, they closed for maintenance and I came back straight away the next day! Would recommenda year agoGood coffee. Dad and I get burgers, and other foods from here regularly. The Burgers are cheaper than McDonald’s next door and also taste like a home family BBQ. Pies have chunks of meat and beautiful crispy golden brown pastry. The pies and sausage rolls from bakery’s food choice often gets sold out. Part of the Saigon Group Bakehouses, this bakery delivers on consistency and quality.
The woman that served me was friendly and personal very efficient even reheating the pies I bought to ensure they were hot.
The displays are always clear and the shop is very clean which is a major factor for me.
Great selection of breads and cakes as well as pies and sausage rolls.
Provide Vietnamese Banh Mi and fresh salads too.
A fantastic edition to the suburbs on the East side always fresh and tasty.
This place was so disappointing. We were visiting the area and picked this place ahead of time. When we arrived we were pretty disappointed. Really dirty tables out the front (which looked like they’d been dirty for a while), banh Mi so dry it literally cut my husband’s mouth and not a single vegetarian option to be found amongst their Vietnamese options. Not a single one. Asked if one could be made up (even just with salad and no meat) and was told no. I sat on a broken chair out the front with nothing to eat, waiting while my husband tried not to choke on his banh mi. This place is pretty damn bad and we are so disappointed that we chose to come here out of all the other places we had lined up for the day. If I could give less than one star, I would.
If your looking for a bakery that has LOTS of choice for pies/cakes/sandwiches/drinks then this place is for you! Awesome old school favourites, would definitely recommend 10/10
Good range to choose from if your looking for cakes, pies & sausage rolls, we weren’t expecting to find Bah mi rolls & rice paper rolls so that was a bonus, they were average.
Pies are old pastry old and hard staff dont serve just stand around talking 10 minutes I waited 20 minute smoke wasted if someone standing at counter they should be served bunch of timewasters
