4 months agoI was recently stranded in Dubbo with car alternator issues. The team at Maccas Auto Electrical were incredible. They were able to get the car all fixed that day and were professional and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended!!10 months agoAbsolutely the best family run Mechanics I have ever dealt with.. my car had an issue and they were kind enough to stop other work they were in the middle of to assist me – I am a travelling Sales Rep – I was so concerned how o would get my vehicle back 385km’s to my home in Port Stephens – they are so courteous, so genuine, so obligingly- I could not speak highly enough of them – thank you SO much Lindy & Shayne –a year agoMaccas Auto did a good job on my airconditioning and also helped me with alternator trouble, staying late and talking me through the process of installation. Our brake controller on our caravan packed up just as we were about to leave town and just before Easter. Ian was amazing and identified the problem then fitted us in to fix it on the same day. They even dropped us off and picked us up from town while we waited. Excellent service. Highly recommend.2 years agoHad my Stereo system replaced today. I had asked about cost to the receptionist lady. She said if they take 30 mins will charge $65. And that job Must not take more that 1 hour. But, hey charged me of $235 for 2 hours of labor, where Autobarn said they would charge $125. Tricky Business.

After setting out on our long awaited caravan holiday our car broke down and was towed to one of the local dealers. Waiting 4 days with no communication we contacted Dean to explain the issues. Dean had the issue diagnosed within 30mins and fixed 45mins later so we could get back on our adventure. Repaired at a great price. Amazing customer service and communication. Thanks team.
After five visits and hundreds of dollars to various mechanics and auto-electricians around Dubbo, the air-conditioning in my wife’s Suzuki Alto was still blowing warm air.
Frustrated and on the verge of trading the car in for something else, I went to speak to the guys at Robbie Cook as they came highly recommended as some of the best auto-electricians in Dubbo.
Dean took a look at the car and said, “We’d like to fix it today. We’ve had a cancellation and if we do it, it will be ready by tomorrow morning”. The next day I picked the car up with the air-con blowing ice cold air as it should have been and was charged a VERY reasonable price for such prompt, efficient service.
From now on, I will not be taking any of my cars anywhere else when it comes to auto-electrics or air-con work. These guys are awesome.
The air-con in my wife’s car is now fixed just in time for summer -thanks Robbie Cook and thanks Dean!
