Glad I found this place. Food is super good! I had a really good lunch on a sunny Sunday. I got a small portion of three coiches with rice eai in. Generous portions. Takeaways are smaller but cheaper. Really fair from them. Meat was delicious, and the mushrooms were perfect. Will definitely come back if I visit Glenelg again.

Been to this place many times, always value for money . The place isn’t fancy , and the food is good and it’s a great institution. Dishes are full of flavour and sauces are thick and plentiful. Lots of dietary options , and plenty of choices for vegetarians , as well as for those who don’t like their food too spicy . The staff are always cooking , so food is warm and fresh . Kids always love the Naan bread , and there are a few choices for those as well . A great local place for a satisfying meal that doesn’t break the bank .

For halal food. Good value for money. Good service. Enjoyed the chicken madras and mixed vege. Having the choice to skip rice is really great for those who need to watch intake.

The spice level is right, and curries are not sweet.

This place has delicious curry food, it wasn’t spicy but the flavours was good, big & generous portions. I like the butter chicken & love the lamb korma nice and tender, not so much on the chicken masala flavour here. The cheese & garlic Nan bread wasn’t flavourful & not good. The mango lassi was really good & tasty?just right.

  1. Excellent sums it up. What a breath of fresh air to have an easy going place with such good food. The team working there are attentive and the food comes fast. I was impressed with how the place is run.
    Highly recommend.

  2. Came in starving and left a couple of belt loops heavier. The Pav Bhaji, Onion Uttapam and the Medu Vada were real highlights. Might have given it 5 stars if I was vegetarian but unfortunately I am not and so when I had the Dum Buriyani I was missing the bite of lamb. Come here with friends for authentic and flavoursome Indian food and friendly staff.

  3. Good attentive service and great manager. But food needs improvement, sticky tables, small crowded over packed place, very loud and chaotic when we visited, quite a bit of time to get in but service was quick. Food tasted good but average. Great menu selection though. Overall, will try again but a lot of room for improvement. Increased rating after the next visit. Maybe we were caught in a busy time.

  4. Staff and cooks nowadays doesn’t take orders seriously, specially when you say mild spicy , they kept the spicy level at high although they were told kids will also be sharing the meal

  5. One of the best Indian vegetarian restaurant in Adelaide. Plenty of variety from chat to main course.
Chili chat was unique and tasty.

The staff were polite. Very quick service. Prices are reasonable.
Will definitely visit again when in Adelaide.
