Service was okay, staff is friendly but the food is not the same in the quality. We ordered dahi puri which was good, Special Dosa was not bad, noodles were cold and weren’t served with any sauce, paneer tikka was marinated with the acchari sauce but was not cooked properly, we could only taste the masala.

We went to holiday in gold coast and found this good Indian restaurant. I loved biryani, tandoori chicken , kaju curry, naan, roti. Staff are very friendly and atmosphere is good. When you are travelling for more than 3 days in gold coast and bored of bread and crave for biryani, this place is good. Price are bit high compare to Melbourne but it’s same eve6where in gold coast.

Liked their Biryani, which was unbelievably good, spicy as authentic. Also tried Goat curry which was bursting with flavours. Atmosphere was awesome, service was excellent. Only thing they could improve in these two dishes or others they to cook their chicken and meat slightly more, as was not that tender which I was expecting.

  1. Worst Indian food I have ever had. The rice we had in the biriani was horribly thick, not tasty at all. Chicken curries were not good as well.

Burnt oil smell was coming from the Samosa.

Such a waste of money, lost my trust on googles reviews.

Waiter lady was not welcoming ,seemed like she doesn’t like what she is doing.

  2. The staff are very warm, courteous and patient with every single customer. The decor is very interesting with the Reds and royal seats. Has interesting artifacts around the entire restaurant. On the walls, tables and near the door. The breads are fresh. The curries are not served piping hot but will feed someone really hungry who won’t care of the temperature. Heaps of outside seating.

  3. It was delightful culinary experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with authentic décor. The menu featured a diverse range of dishes, each bursting with traditional flavors and spices. Service was attentive, and the flavors left a lasting impression. A must-visit for Indian cuisine enthusiasts.

  4. I had an absolutely amazing experience at Curry Express! The Indian food here is beyond delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

  5. It’s my second time to visit for lunch.
The last time was 3 or 4years ago???
    I got takeaway today?
I had Butter Chicken, chicken tikka masala and chicken korma.
    And some plain naan.
They are nice but it’s not going to be my favourite ?
The edge of naan was under cooked?
It’s interesting that the same name of the menu but tastes a little bit different in each restaurant ?
Friendly and very welcome service was so good?
Having here may feel hot at summer lunchtime ???
