Love that this nursery has a coffee cart inside and a nice area to enjoy the surroundings.

The nursery has a wide selection of plants. They also regularly run workshops.

Beautiful selection! I would have been completely lost without their staff member Janet, she was great and took the time to give instructions on how to properly care for each of the 5 plants I was getting- something you don’t get everywhere! She also told us about the Bonsai classes – can’t wait! Thanks Janet!

has a great range of plants and pots, unfortunatly finding prices is rare. Found the older ladies rude, short with us but rude to the young staff.

I was served by a lovely gentleman, I believe his name was Gayan, he was extremely helpful and approached me immediately as I stepped inside the store. You can see that he has alot of knowledge and passion for what he does, thank you Alora for the wonderful service. The plant I bought was lovely, will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone I know!

  1. There was a time once when you could go to Bunnings and all staff members knew where everything was and could provide knowledgeable advice. Not anymore! Needed a replacement jigsaw blade, took the old one in and went to the tool area. The first person said he didn’t work in tools but he would try and help me. Went to the wrong area, and literally had no idea whatsoever on what he was doing even with the old blade as a guide, just stood there with a blank look. I said I needed somebody who knew what was what so he took over from the person manning the register in the tool area and he was directed to assist. He went to the wrong area as well and started asking me what size was the blade? I said the same as I’ve shown you, he said there’s no writing on it so he couldn’t tell, He asked what tool it came from, I directed him to the exact one on display nearby. After another 5 minutes he decided a particular packet had the right ones inside. It took a full 20 minutes to purchase a simple blade replacement. Really poor customer service. This store needs to fix up it’s training of staff it seems.

  2. Well done to who thought it would be a good idea to hire Sandra. Her horrific attitude is the very reason retailers will be replaced by robots. I did attempt to make a complaint in store but she refused to refer me to a manager so here is the feedback, get better staff and teach them how to treat customers. While I’m at it this store is poorly stocked (everything is “on a pallet”) staff don’t know where anything is (several occasions) and as per Sandra’s instructions if you expect service when trying to get keys cut (advertised service) “go to a locksmith”.

  3. Very huge store but not complete. Some items are. Missing. Store clerks are not so knowledgeable of product locations and functionalities. Personnel should be trained and properly oriented before assuming their post.

  4. The store with the rudest team members with egoistic answers. I have been given rude responses two times in a row on the same day. This store team members need to be trained on how not to be racist and speak with respect. Today was a guy with glasses asian looking brown skin color he went straight to their team members lunch area i guess later on. I was asking for help and all his response was “you have done this before haven’t you ?”.
I thought bunnings had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. But man Darwin city bunnings has hired most of the egoistic and racist team members ever i guess. Not trying to be offensive but most of the asian looking team members in this store don’t have any manners when asked for help.
