a year agoI tried calling the store to see if they had an item in stock, but no one seemed to want to answer. The message was that they’re all busy serving customers… well I hung up & went there, yes some were busy, while several others were having a good old chinwag… wasn’t impressed at all. Thank goodness that they had what I wanted.5 months agoI ordered a chair for click and collect 3 weeks ago. After two weeks was told it was in so I went to collect but they couldn’t find it. Jerry, one of the Managers at Gilles Plains advised he will order a new chair for me that day (Tuesday) and offered to deliver the chair later that day or the next (Wednesday) to make up for the inconvenience. I called Thursday as no chair arrived, and Jerry tells me he definitely ordered it and he went and “checked” and then tells me “yep, order was placed Monday”. This is impossible when we didn’t know a new chair was needed until Tuesday. I pull him up on this and he snaps at me saying he never said Monday, he said Wednesday. Either way the new chair order was supposed to be placed Tuesday. I then call head office and they tell me that no order has been placed at all and that they would order one for me now. I then get a call yesterday after another week of waiting, saying the new chair is in so I go in last night to collect and again it was nowhere to be found AGAIN! …….But….Finally the chair was delivered this morning! Jerry is completely incompetent, a liar and I genuinely believe he couldn’t care less about his customers. I am yet to receive any sort of apology from anyone at Officeworks and the senior store manager who was supposed to call me multiple times over the past week is yet to be heard from. I honestly can’t beleive how hard this has been to just buy a chair.a year agoI am disappointed and angry. I placed an order of 6 greeting cards with their self-serve machines. I asked a staff member (I believe their name was Julie) if it would be shiny or matte, and they said matte. I picked up the order today and it was 1. shiny, 2. not even a greeting card. The 6 prints were on shiny photo paper, and rather than a blank back for writing, it looked like this (picture attached). If this is a greeting card, shouldn’t I be able to write on it? So I went back to the counter and asked about these concerns. The person on the register said “yeah, sorry, the size you selected is photo paper only.” I asked for them to be re-done and she said I’d have to edit them at home and come back. I know this isn’t true, because Officeworks staff have the software to quickly edit these and reprint them, as I did a few days ago with another order. However, the girl at the register could only say “sorry, the size you selected is photo paper.” …so why did Julie say they were matte? And why did the ordering system not prevent me from ordering this size if photo paper was the only option? And why are they advertised as “greeting cards” if you cannot even write on the back?I might have to buy some white card and stick these on with glue, so I can write on the back. But I’ll go to the post office for that because hopefully they’ll have better service.
a month agoReally upsetting service we buy Samsung memory card and it’s not proper work we show them infornt of them still they didn’t do anything and also when we buy we ask them it’s not work in our device in that case you can take it back they said yes still they just flipped on that word didn’t do anything. Really worst treat. Very bad manager henry5 months agoHuge range of Stationary, Printers / Cartridges, Laptop / Tablet inc. accessories, Mobiles and accessories, Office Chairs, Craft, large selection of Kids Educational Toys, STEM toys / crafts, Artist supplies, Photo printing and custom Printing Gifts such as Photo Books, photo keyrings, mugs, etc and so much more. Love having this store so close to our Office. Always found them to be a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful Team. Very handy being able to Order Online and then a pick-up notification sometimes as quick as a couple of hours ! Easy to navigate Website. PayPal option which is a must for me. What’s not to love !

This store has a mixed bag of reviews! Reading through the lines on most of the low rated reviews, some of these reviewers seem to be expressing their “grief, anger and hurt” rather than being objective!
As is the case with the Officeworks chain of stores, this one too has a very large floor area and is conveniently located on the western side of Main North Rd (corner of Kesters Rd). They stock pretty much everything you would need for your home office, school supplies, etc. It’s quite easy to work your way around the store and find things for yourself. The staff here are quite attentive and helpful. Adam in the BM section is extremely knowledgeable and responsive. Corey, the store manager is a hands on person who leads through example ?
The store hours are very convenient and the carpark is large and easily accessible.
Definitely a store to recommend to anyone looking to stock up on stationery, office automation, office furniture, school material and/or other supplies ?

Gaby was a great help. I come in for some urgent booklets printing. It was a busy night with very limited staff. Gaby ensures I have all my questions answered and organised my booklets to be printed and collected. Couldn’t be happier with her services.
I would like to thank Amanda who gave me 5 star customer service today. Helping me with something I knew nothing about. She definitely made up for the young guy who first approached me, and just said…oh, they are over there ! No help at all.
Extremely disappinted with what the store manager did on 27.11.2023. Wanted to buy Galaxy S23 FE which was sold by some other store cheaper. He was excited to help is until then but when we asked him price match him he started drama. He had hell lot of excuses not to price match. Such a incompetent person. Doesnot care about customer. He said no one in Officework will price match. We later went to officework Prospect and the very supportive staff there easily price matched us (no drama at all).
I dont know what made him manager. Bery poor fellow.
We love the size of the Officeworks at Parafield and always seem to come out with more than we intend to buy. They have such a wide range of useful and unique things. The kids range of toys and games is good and the prices reasonable.
It’s a great places to find unique presents also with different kits of things to do and games etc.
