Caboolture Community Action Group is a not-for-profit association made up entirely of volunteers. They provide food hampers for those doing it tough, twice-weekly dinners for those in the community who are at risk from being socially isolated. These dinners allow an easy access feeling for people to connect with others in their neighborhood. If you have (still in usable condition) spare clothing, shoes, bedding, non perishable foods etc please consider CCA as your recipient. I’m also sure they could use some volunteer time from those who have some time to spare.

    Caring, dedicated, loyal, helpful, understanding.

Recommend to anyone homeless (or if you need to escape from somewhere unsafe), adult or child!!

Plus, there’s food, clothes, a shower, a TV, you can relax, have a tea or coffee … a place to feel “normal”, without being judged.

  1. Visited yesterday, cost us $16.50 for myself and 2 children. Once we got inside most of the outdoor pool was cordoned off for a school and lap swimmers which left one lane for recreational. We then tried to go inside but a group had booked out the whole inside pool. Little bit steep charging so much when you can use one lane of the whole area to swim

  2. Entry fees are fair, and the food is okay, though the hot dogs are expensive for just a tiny roll with no butter.
Very strict on running with life guards warning kids who even walk fast and eyeball the young ones who jump into the pool as if everyone is doing bomb dives… life guards need to stop being Karen’s.

  3. This is a busy pool for the locals and for kids swimming lessons. There’s a play pool, the main pool and a warmer covered pool (it’s not a true therapy pool as it’s not quite hot enough, but it’s warm and good for rehab).

The gym is well equipped for a small local gym and kept tidy.

The only downside is that there’s signs everywhere about using a towel on the equipment and/or sanitising after use, however it’s not enforced which is a shame.

There’s some snacks and a little shop of swimming gear available. Good parking. Most of the staff are pretty friendly. Attentive life guards. Seating around the pool for those who aren’t swimming.

    Various pricing options.

  4. Zero Stars!! Expensive & Tacky.

1 lifeguard supervising 3 separate pools, while the other staff sit in reception area. 4 lanes used for lap swimmers only, while 3 lanes are used for the public. There were only 3 lap swimmers, while 25 public swimmers are crammed together and its currently school holidays. No entertainment for the children, just a boring pool.

    Would not recommend! Go elsewhere.

  5. I have been attending hydro therapy classes held in the indoor pool. The temp is currently down due to a fault but is still quite reasonable to swim in. It’s being worked on. Parking is a bit tight early in the mornings when aerobics classes are held but eases up around 9
