While the food was full of flavour and beautifully cooked, the waitress clearly had no hospitality training. She was very friendly though and asked for help when she didn’t understand a request. Recommend it as take away.

Food was average, best thing on our order was the salted lassi, rest of food was average.

Service was poor, the wait staff was rude and was talking down at us, it seemed from her attitude when we walked into the restaurant that us being there was like inconvenience to them!! This was for dinner on Saturday night, the restaurant wasn’t set up and she rudely asked us to wait for 15 mins when she sets up, like 15 mins to set up a table for 4? And while we waited she called us in after 2 mins, it almost seemed like she was staying to shoo us away by asking to wait 15 mins.

When serving the entrees she again rudely asks if they can start preparing our mains as they have lots of phone orders to prepare (I was never asked this before when dining out) I also noted she didn’t ask this to other tables.

We were visiting the town and were tourists, left a very bad impression on us. A day prior we dined at another Indian restaurant in the town and the food and the service both were great which we didn’t get from this restaurant

Great food with authentic flavours. Generous servings with reasonable prices. Dhal Makhani is an unusual menu item. This one reminded me of growing up in India many years ago. Highly recommended as a dinner venue.

Rude Customer Service and charged for an item which I never received.

I did a menulog Pickup order. After collecting the order and got back to my car, I found out that two items were missing (mango lassi and gulab jamun). I went back to let them know, however the server spoke arrogantly and said all items must be in the bag and that she doesn’t know where the order was from. She handed one lassi but denied upfront to give gulab jamun (which was already paid for ). This attitude from the server and being talked in condescending way , made me leave the place. Ridiculous behavior. Never ordering again.

  1. We had half tandoori chicken, butter chicken and plain naan. After waiting for 1 hour on a not so busy day. The tandoori chicken was average. The butter chicken does not taste like butter chicken at all and the plain naan came out with soo much butter, not sure why. If you don’t know the taste of traditional Indian food you might like it but if you know the taste then you won’t enjoy it here.

  2. Hardly provide feedback esp if it’s negative:

So foos was good but I had to chase about 6 times to grab my tax invoice which I need for work propose but absolutely being reluctant less on providing one!
I feel the owner/ manager is good but staff over the phone( female ) was just useless

  3. Ordered at 4pm to pick-up at 5pm on the way home from picking up the kids. Arrived just before 5pm, only to be told they hadn’t started making it yet, said it would be 5-10 minutes. 20 minutes later the food was ready. Explained my frustration to the person at the front and was completely ignored, they didn’t even acknowledge me, say sorry or anything. I was the only customer there so they weren’t busy. The place is old, run down, most of the lights aren’t even turned on, would never consider dining in. Food’s good, reasonably priced.

  4. The worst experience that I have had a a restaurant!

My partner and I had been recommended to give it a try as our friends had previously ordered food.

So we placed an order over the phone and stopped into for pick up a litttle earlier than when it was ready!

As we entered the restaurant, the Indian women preparing in the kitchen, greeted us but had dropped a Nan Bread as she was moving towards the counter.

Given that she didn’t pick it up and put it in the bin right away, we kept an eye on her as she spoke to other customers and moved back into the kitchen.

As she did, she looked back briefly then placed it on the opposite counter. At this stage, I wasn’t quite happy as there was an obvious bin next to it. However, it wasn’t on the main table top so I thought I’d give her the benefit of the doubt.

But no, when she thought we were out of site, she quickly grabbed the bread and placed it on top of someone’s pile.

After a short quote discussion with my partner, we decided that we would not proceed with our order and out of respect, I spoke to the woman and quietly told her our reasons for cancelling.

At that moment, she totally changed her demeanour and tone of voice. Vocalising her innocence and claiming that I was lying. Of which I asked her to show us the bin, which she was unable to do.

So her only response was to say that she was going to “punish me and wish bad things”. Not only did I think this was immature but very inappropriate.

I was not there to embarrass her or her business, but support the business until I was not happy with the food standards.
