Many shops have closed for the past 3 months. You can count the number of shops with your fingers. The food court is always full during lunch time and on weekends. Usually visits there to go for lunch at the food court that has 5 shops you can choose from. Mainly Target and Priceline are the main shops.

Alice Plaza still has that fresh large capacity place you could go to. With the new installed indoor kids playground it is a well used space for families to just sit down and relax, grab something to eat and watch the kids play safely. Alice Plaza always finding ways to improve. ?

Very racist people in Alice Springs, I watched people treat Aboriginal people like they had a sickness, shop owners are disgraceful, their manners towards the Aboriginal people is a disgrace.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Target Alice Springs for the past 8 years and I wanted to share my experience with the customer service team, especially Jackie. She is an invaluable asset to the store, always providing a warm and welcoming environment that makes customers feel safe and comfortable. I have witnessed her exceptional work over the last 8 years and can’t express enough gratitude for the kindness and attention she has shown me and other shoppers . I’m also aware that there are other team members who deserve recognition, and I will make sure to gather their names. Overall, I highly recommend this Target Alice springs , thanks to their wonderful staff!

Literally 5mins before posting this I was getting served at your store. I asked your cashier Lee for a bag, she scanned my 3 items. I asked again. She tells me the price of my three items, I ASK IF THE BAG WAS IN THE PRICE, she seems absolutely oblivious to communication… I pay. She says all good and there’s no bag!!…. Like Honestly it’s raining and I asked for a bag!! Come on now Target, train your staff to be more helpful to your customers.

In my view Target has gone downhill in recent times, it has a much reduced range of merchandise and seems to be concentrating mostly on woman’s clothing. In my opinion it will be closed within 12 months.

The best customer service I’ve had in a long time. I had a decent sized list of items I needed, and one of the ladies working there took me to each individual section to pick up all that I needed (instead of giving a generic but understandable ‘aisle 5’ type response). A lot of care is obviously taken by the staff and I appreciate it. I was actually quite blown away by the great customer service here. Another lady even helped me take my items to the car. ??????

When going to a shopping centre in Australia, there are several things to consider to ensure a pleasant and efficient shopping experience. Whether you are visiting a local mall or a larger shopping complex, it’s important to plan ahead and be mindful of certain factors.

  • Location: Consider the location of the shopping centre in relation to your home or accommodation. Look for one that is conveniently located and easily accessible by public transportation or car.
  • Opening Hours: Check the opening hours of the shopping centre, as they may vary depending on the day of the week or public holidays. This will help you plan your visit and make sure you have enough time to browse and make your purchases.
  • Parking: If you are driving to the shopping centre, find out about the parking facilities available. Consider the costs, availability, and ease of parking to avoid any inconvenience or long walks.
  • Layout: Explore the layout of the shopping centre before you go. Familiarize yourself with the directory or map, so you can easily navigate through the different stores and find what you need.
  • Stores and Amenities: Research the stores and amenities available in the shopping centre. Check if they have the brands or products you are looking for, as well as facilities such as restrooms, baby changing rooms, or places to eat.
  • Sales and Promotions: Keep an eye out for any sales or promotions happening at the shopping centre. Look for advertisements or check their website for discounts, special offers, or loyalty programs that can help you save money or earn rewards on your purchases.
  • COVID-19 Safety: In light of the ongoing pandemic, it is important to consider the COVID-19 safety measures implemented by the shopping centre. Check if they require face masks, have hand sanitizing stations, and enforce social distancing guidelines to protect your health and wellbeing.
  • Budget: Set a budget for your shopping trip and try to stick to it. Avoid impulse purchases and make a list of the items you need to buy, so you can prioritize and stay within your budget.
  • Reviews and Ratings: Read reviews and ratings of the shopping centre, if available. This can give you insights into other shoppers’ experiences and help you determine if the shopping centre is worth visiting.
  • Plan and Prioritize: Plan your visit to the shopping centre by prioritizing the stores or items you want to visit or purchase. This will help you make the most of your time and avoid feeling overwhelmed or rushed.

  1. Considering the shortage of staff throughout the NT, this centre is doing its best to provide a service to the general public of Alice Springs. The Telsra store provides us with outstanding serice over a computer dongle problem. I congratulate them for there outstanding service.

  2. The area is tough, however the security team with a lot of 3 hard working African Sudanese men (one big two skinny man) and other young Africans, are really among the best in the country , they really set the standard of what good quality work should be done by good quality people, who ever run this team and be part of this team deserves the best appreciation from all citizens in the cities . ❤️❤️??✌️✌️

  3. They spent millions of dollars upgrading recently, since then the place is a magnet for loitering, yelling, smelly people that take up a whole area and don’t buy anything. They had seats on the outside of the eatery where people could sit without annoying paying customers.
I used to get a coffee at Sybils almost daily now, the only time I go into the centre is to shop at Woolies. Centre management are failing its retailers and customers and should be embarrassed.

    It’s a disgrace.
