Mac was able to complete the job in one day..not an easy task with dual rear wheel & working off the ground. When we returned to collect we were told by Fin that a Tie Rod needed changing and they were unable to do the Wheel Alignment until that was fixed. He also told us that there was a charge of $ 65 for the diagnosis! I then asked if they could order it in and install which wasn’t provided as an option! He then checked on price and availability giving us a cost of $ 90 saying it would take a few days to arrive from Perth plus half hour labour of $ 65 to replace. Had it replaced and the wheel alignment done to discover there was a $30 freight charge which was not advised before. The work was done satisfactorily and the staff were pleasant to deal with. However as feedback we were surprised at the initial labour charge for a diagnosis when we were returning as customers to have it fixed. Totally understandable if we were not! Also would have been nice to know of the extra freight charge at the time of the quote when we were made to understand that $ 90 was all up delivered, rather than finding it on the invoice at the time of payment.By Frederick (a year ago)Came in for a simple steering fuild flush but after they had a look they realised I had some other issues that were going to keep the problem I came in to fix going, after a chat they recommended the best course of action. If I needed a new filter of any sort not supposedly scheduled in service, I should’ve been called to let me know so then I’m aware price will be higher – No call. So when I picked up car I was shocked at price. I queried air filter if scheduled in service I was told it was “very dirty” and was due for replacement anyway. So originally it wasn’t added in quote – so why not? I rang to get a price on genuine air filter from a dealership…they quoted me $40 and said it shouldn’t take more than 5 mins to fit. We heard some car noise, but it stopped when we got to the workshop. The boss and mechanic spent quite some time listening to our description and examined the cat carefully. They reassured us that we can bring it back anytime, all for goodwill. No charge.

Can’t thank Dylan enough for his prompt service and understanding of our circumstances. as we were leaving Albany our engine light came on (reoccurring issue) we just need the computer plugged in to run a quick diagnostic to see if it would be safe to drive long distance until we get home to our mechanic, we rang around and were told by everyone “we are too busy you’ll have to book in for a weeks time..” when we called Auto Masters Dylan said feel free to pop in when ever you like, within half an hour we were there, had the diagnostic run and were on our way again. we are so appreciative and would not hesitate to have work done here in the future if ever in Albany and required

Picked up my car after it was fixed and unfortunately I did not realize that I could not use after pay after me asking the guy at the front if it was available who said YES before I drop it off so I presumed that I could cover the cost. Could not get my car in till next day. Now that’s fine but Its the fact that the guy at the front counter told me that I could use after pay and when I could not cover the cost he was non sympathetic and did not care at all just rude. I have had all the work done on my car at Auto masters and have spent a lot of money there and have pad all the cost every time. Will be taking my business elsewhere next time. Went in first thing next morning at pad for the work done ???
