This place is nice but pizza sucks..Sorry, but little Ceasars way better.. This was 2 16 in pizzas for $44. As u can see in pics,, they measure about 14 inches and not 16..Also DRY, CHEWY crust .. My wife ordered a 10″ with onion, green peppers and basil. I ordered a 10″ with pineapple and black olives, an order of cheesy bread and a couple of drinks… 50 bucks. Which I could have stomached if the food was good… we ordered it to eat there, after sitting there for 5 minutes, first, looking for a clean chair… which there were none, the outside(only) eating area was disgustingly, deplorably… filthy, the chairs seats were dirty… looked like they’d never been cleaned, the arm trails on the chairs were so dirty I was afraid to move them… the floor also looked like it had never been cleaned and the smell of the dirty trash cans made me feel like I was sitting next to a dirty dumpster, not to mention the traffic noise… so we decided to get our food to go…
Then the pizzas… it looked like they pre-make cheese pizzas and when you order, they throw the toppings on and maybe put it in the oven for a minute… pizza was hot, but my pineapple and olive were cold, like they’d just come out of the can… my wife’s onions were raw… no browning whatsoever and the basil leaves were still whole and not even wilted. Then the taste, bland and no flavor… to top it off, the l guys working there didn’t wear gloves and had their noses out of their mask… given the complete lack of cleanliness of the place, absolutely disgusted my wife, when we got home, she tried one slice… bite off her pizza and decided to make a sandwich. The cheesy bread was also raw.
What would it take to get a pressure washer and wash down the eating areas and furniture and trash cans… this is a place completely mismanaged and where the owners and employees don’t care. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a box on the corner but soon reminded that you don’t judge a book by its cover. I must say that this was by far the best pizza I’ve had in so many years. I ended up giving a $10 dollar tip. The service was an easy five star. The food was an outstanding five star. This is my new go to place for Italian food. The crust of the pizza was really good and crunchy, but I think they pre-cook it and that is why it was cold. They put a lot of cheese, they are not skimpy on toppings. Have to unfortunately give a three because, 1. my order was wrong and I was still charged for a larger size pizza that I didn’t order and
2. the dough is entirely too thick and lacks flavor. I have never had a pizza with dough that tastes like that and I am an avid pizza eater.The caesar salad was no where near a caesar. The dressing tasted like ranch and there was only a dollop smashed into the lid. Mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, and crutons were on top…this was more like a house salad…with a pool of water at the bottom…
I did buy a sugar cookie and have not tried it yet so maybe that will redeem this place partially but I’m not sure.
The only thing was actually good was the ranch, and I am a ranch fanatic from the south so that’s saying a lot.
Unfortunately, cannot recommend based on what I ordered.

Went there one Sunday morning. Our first time. Not very crowded. Great food. Great service. We had the lunch specials. We got the combo platter appetizer which was excellent. Stop by for lunch. Got a xl meat lovers pizza ?. And it was fantastic really good crust sauce and toppings the mozzarella sticks might have been the best ones I’ve ever had the cheese bread was also really good. Papa Joe’s Pizza on Jurupa and Grand in Riverside is the only place I go for pizza. The restaurant has exactly what you want in a pizza parlor… Friendly service, excellent food, games, beer, and karaoke. The calzones alone are a reason to be a regular customer. The owner Eli is fantastic. Is everything always perfect, of course not. But Eli and his team go above and beyond to make you feel like you’re part of their family and if ANYTHING is ever not up to a customer’s expectations they are happy to fix it. Papa Joe’s Pizza supports local youth athletics and are very proud of their involvement with the community, I can tell by how many plaques that are displayed inside. Support a small, local business and try this restaurant! They have more than just pizza, too. Located off the 91Fwy, at the Riverside Plaza. Compared to most CPK’s in LA, this is a very spacious one. Expect at least a 30 minute wait. Friendly staff, large outdoor patio, large indoor bar area. You can leave your number and shop around as you wait for your table
Came here to eat with my wife and son.
We sat at the bar and were served by Mike, Steve, and ND if I’m saying his name correctly.
They were exceptional and very attentive. They all worked exceptionally well together.
Their GM and Manager should be grateful they have employees of this caliber.
The food was great and the night was amazing.

Pizza and Cobb Salad. Pizza was just okay, but Cobb Salad had absolutely no avocado, cheese or bacon! So it was a $15 lettuce, tomato and chicken salad! I’m especially mad because I had left a tip. This is the second time; the first time prior they had “forgotten” the bacon and avocado. I won’t be returning ?
